The pros and cons of the death penaltyPros

A just response to the worst crimes

A necessary protection of society by removing the killer

A possible deterrent Less expensive than

keeping the murderer in prison for years

Somebody who rapes and kills a child deserves death

Cons Kill a murderer? That is not

better than his crimes! Safety is also established

by keeping the killer imprisoned

Not just the criminal gets punished but also his relatives

We should make use of more humane punishments

The danger of executing an innocent person can’t be completely excluded
