• The death of Jesus on the cross was not the END of Jesus.

Pointers from the Gospels1. Jesus demonstrated that He himself BELIEVED in the resurrection

of the dead and their eternal judgment. Matt 22:23-33. Luke 14:14

2. Jesus FORE-TOLD not only His cruel death but also His certain resurrection; repeatedly and specifically to His disciples. The disciples neither understood nor believed Him. Matt 16:21 & 17:22. Mark 8:31, 9:30.

3. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead and demonstrated His POWER & AUTHORITY over death even before His own resurrection. John 11

4. Jesus claimed that He is the RESURRECTION Himself. John 11:255. He based His AUTHORITY on His resurrection. John 2:18-196. The authorities of the day ensured their best to prevent RUMOR
