The day my nighty got caught in the breezeMy baby brother said“Stop flashing your legs we can all see your knees!“And they’ll know you haven’t got leg-warmers“But ankle socks instead!”
“I’m not coming out with you looking like that “What would Mother say?“I’m quite ashamed of a sister of mine“Carrying on that way”
“It’s not my fault” I said “It’s the wind“And these nighties are so revealing“They lift straight up before and behind“You don’t know how embarrassed I’m feeling”
“Just try holding it down then” he rebuked“All the Monroes are looking our way“I suppose you’ll say that’s only a fluke“Just what Marilyn would say.”
