1. unification process of DC Rec., based onES-TRIN, UNECE Resolution No.61 as amended is not feasible;
2. DC Technical WG remains a platform for further work;
3. DC Secretariat will coordinate proposals of DC MS inthe CESNI Committee;
4. relevant Decision to be presented for adoption bythe DC session in December 2017.

BESCHLUSS
der 89. Tagung der Donaukommission
in Bezug auf den Europäischen Standard der technischen Vorschriften für Binnenschiffe (ES-TRIN)
(angenommen am 13. Dezember 2017)
Nach Erörterung des Tagesordnungspunktes 8 zu technischen Fragen sowie des Teils des Ergebnisberichts über die Sitzung der Arbeitsgruppe für technische Angelegenheiten (17. - 20. Oktober 2017) (Dok. DK/TAG 89/12) zu technischen Fragen,
sowie in Anbetracht dessen, dass der Europäische Ausschuss zur Ausarbeitung von Standards im Bereich der Binnenschifffahrt (CESNI) den ES-TRIN-Standard angenommen hat,
BESCHLIESST die 89. Tagung der Donaukommission:
1. Den Mitgliedstaaten zu empfehlen, an Stelle der „Empfehlungen über die technischen Vorschriften für Binnenschiffe“ der Donaukommission den ES-TRIN-Standard anzuwenden.
