My Daily Fasting Journal: What is God revealing?

Day 1Memorize ✦ If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels,

but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. - 1 Corinthians 13:1 (Use this section below to plan your diet, or journal about it.) !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 1 and 1 Corinthians 13:1-7 !

✦ Pray for God’s blessing and protection over everyone that is participating in the Daniel fast both from TLC and our families.

Day 2Memorize ✦ If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of

God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. . - 1 Corinthians 13:2 !


✦ Pray for strength, wisdom, and protection for our pastor’s family







Day 3Memorize ✦ If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed

my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. - 1 Corinthians 13:3 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 3 and 1 John 3:16-20 !

✦ Pray for protection and God’s blessings over the entire Loving Church leadership/ministerial team and volunteer staff.







Day 4Memorize ✦ Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or

proud or rude. - 1 Corinthians 13:4 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 4 and Mark 10:42-45 !

✦ Pray for TLC that God will continue to use our virtual ministry to reach people for Jesus Christ around the world.







Day 5Memorize ✦ It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it

keeps no record of being wronged. - 1 Corinthians 13:5 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 5 and Colossians 3:12-15 !

✦ Pray for TLC that God will continue to see it grow and impact the thousands of people that live around Indianapolis and the surrounding area.







Day 6Memorize ✦ Love does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices

whenever the truth wins out. - 1 Corinthians 13:6 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 6 !

✦ Pray for TLC that God will reveal to us an empowerment center location for us to operate from within the city of Indianapolis.







Day 7Memorize ✦ Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful,

and endures through every circumstance. - 1 Corinthians 13:7 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 7 and John 15:13-17 !

✦ Pray for TLC that our TV ministry will launch successfully and that God will use it as a tool to spread the gospel to the thousands of people that would not consider coming to a traditional church.







Day 8Memorize ✦ Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special

knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! - 1 Corinthians 13:8 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 8 and Deuteronomy 6:4-7 !

✦ Pray for TLC as we develop ministries that strive to meet the spiritual needs of people of our local and international community.







Day 9Memorize ✦ Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even

the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! - 1 Corinthians 13:9 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 9 and John 3:16-21 !

✦ Pray that God will provide us with partners, donors and adequate financial support in order that all of our on-going planning will go smoothly.







Day 10Memorize ✦ But when full understanding comes, these partial things

will become useless. - 1 Corinthians 13:10 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 10 and Romans 5:3-6 !

✦ Pray for God’s blessing over those that volunteer their time, resources and talents each and every week at The Loving Church.







Day 11Memorize ✦ When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as

a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. - 1 Corinthians 13:11 !


✦ Pray for all of the youth of TLC. Pray that God will continue to use TLC to partner with their parents in teaching them more about God’s love for them and His plan for their lives.







Day 12Memorize

✦ Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. - 1 Corinthians 13:12 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 12 and Philippians 2:5-11 !

✦ Pray that God will use TLC to challenge our youth to be the greatest generation of faith!







Day 13Memorize ✦ Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and

the greatest of these is love. - 1 Corinthians 13:13 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 13 and Philippians 4:4-9 !

✦ Pray that the thousands of people in Indianapolis that are searching for peace in their lives will find God.







Day 14Memorize ✦ Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But

anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. - 1 John 4:7b, 8 !


✦ Pray for the many people that have accepted Christ into their lives recently. Pray that they will continue to grow in their relationship with God.







Day 15Memorize ✦ Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear.

If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. - 1 John 4:18 !


✦ Pray for peace, guidance, and direction for the many people that have lost their jobs this and past years.







Day 16Memorize ✦ Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate

what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. - Romans 12:9-10 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 16 and Romans 12:9-16 !

✦ Pray for peace, strength, and healing for those that are struggling with health problems.







Day 17Memorize ✦ Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them

without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, - Luke 6:35 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 17 and Luke 6:27-36 !

✦ Pray for protection and blessings for all of the Military troops both home and overseas that risk their lives for our freedom.







Day 18Memorize ✦ And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart,

all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ 31 The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” - Mark 12:30-31 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 18 and Mark 12:28-33 !

✦ Pray for God’s favor over the many pastors and leaders in Indy.







Day 19Memorize ✦ Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when

people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it. - 1 Peter 3:9 !

✦ Read: Proverbs Chapter 19 and 1 Peter 3:8-12 !

✦ Pray for the leaders of our city, our state and leaders of our nation.







Day 20Memorize ✦ But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you

have rescued me. - Psalms 13:5 !


✦ Pray that the TLC church family will love God more in 2014 then in any past years of their lives!







Day 21Memorize ✦ Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when
