Happy Fall to our SDS Families,

We are so excited and blessed to be in our 26th year of business! Thank you for your support, we know you have a choice in dance schools and on behalf of my entire staff we want to thank you for choosing ours. We want this to be a fantastic dance experience for everyone, so if you ever have a question or concern, please do not hesitate in contacting us.

We already have a few dates we need everyone to put on their calendar and notify their families and friends. Saturday December 3rd our studio w ill transform into a Winter Wonderland. I

have hired a few of Santa?s talented decorating elves to update and enhance our wonderland experience. All recreational class students w ill perform throughout the day. We w ill have more specif ic information for you at the beginning of November.

Our spring ?Let?s Dance Recital 2017? is set for Friday and Saturday May 5th and 6th at Kingwood High School.

Halloween is coming up and if your dancer has a costume that is dance friendly and would like to wear to class the week of October 25th that would be f ine. If you would like to bring treats, st ickers or anything else for classmates please ask your instructor for class count. Please note

dancers who are on Strutter Dance Teams, please stay tuned for specif ic information from your directors in the coming weeks.

The studio w ill close during holiday breaks, (Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break) or during bad weather. We w ill remain open during parent/ teacher conferences, teacher in-service days, and any other days off from school including national holidays. When bad weather occurs, we w ill

cancel classes if the surrounding school districts are closed.

We have some of the most giving and compassionate families in our dance community. Thank you for always being so faithful in helping our philanthropies that are near to our hearts. We are f inishing up w ith helping the residents at Pine Shadows Nursing home in Porter and about to begin our M ission Northeast food drive.

For the past 14 years Ms. Val has been the director of Eisenhower High School Dance Team. This past spring Val made the diff icult decision to leave her dance director job at EHS and take a less demanding job at Houston Academy Magnet of Fine Arts in Aldine ISD. Ms. Val's daughter Julia dances on one of our mini teams. Ms. Val is directing our Youth Purple team as well as f illing in as needs arise! We are all thrilled to have Ms. Val join our studio staff!

Mat Brooks has been teaching gymnastics and tumbling for over 8 years. Currently he is a member of the Woodlands Elite tumbling staff in Magnolia TX. He has worked around the Kingwood and Humble area teaching and helping manage gymnastics and tumbling programs. Teaching these skills is a huge passion of Mat's and he is so excited to share that passion w ith Stacey's Dance Studio.

Ms. Anoushka lives in Kingwood w ith her husband and two small children, She is from New Zealand. She has extensive training and diplomas in Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Tap. She teaches Elite Ballet and Pointe class.

Stacey?s Dance Studio is thrilled to welcome Ms. Kelli Nielsen to our studio staff. Ms. Kelli began dancing at the age of 2. She performed w ith The METDance Company in Houston for 2 years. Ms. Kelli is the proud mother to 2 boys and 1 girl, ages 4,2, and 1. She lives in Kingwood and loves the community. She is happy to be teaching at Stacey?s Dance Studio.
