Macintyre Young Writers’ Awards I had the privilege yesterday evening on joining the Wells and Bellman families for the MYW Presentation Ceremony. As a small school it is fantastic to see our students achieving success in the wider region. Harry, Marshall and Oliver represented the school extremely well and we are all very proud of their efforts. Super Spellers and Mental Master Our students continue to be extremely competitive each Friday as they strive for Spelling and Mentals honours. Millie and Oliver managed to grab the double this week, both getting Super Speller and Mentals Master, while Katie was the most improved speller, jumping a massive 16 words from Monday. Oliver and Millie were joined as Mentals Master by Lacey and Harry. Great work everyone. Assembly We will have a short assembly at 9.30am tomorrow morning to award our most recent bronze award recipients their awards for this term. A few students are hot on the heels of the 60 points required for silver, but no one has got past it yet. The term is slipping away quickly, but there is still time to make it to gold by the end of the term. Welcome I would like to officially welcome our new student, Jack Tighe, who has joined us to make our already awesome Kindergarten even better. Of course his family is already well known in the area, but it is great to have more local connections at our school. Regards Michael Sky, Principal

In the Classroom with Mrs Reardon K-2 have been investigating everything about dinosaurs. They have come up with some very cool facts to share. 3-6 also have been doing information reports on Dinosaurs as a literacy subject.
