Set aside a specific time each day. Set your schedule and then stick to it!
Read the Bible for the sake of learning, not simply to accomplish your next reading.
Say a short prayer to God before you begin, asking the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom and understanding, then be refreshed by the words you read!

From our Minister of
Youth & Children:
On October 29 and 30 our
juniors and seniors will be
hitting the road to explore the
campuses of Duke, NC State,
and UNCW. We’ll spend time
exploring the colleges and
cities they are located in. Fri-
day night we will have a time
of fun and fellowship in the
youth room as we hear from
some of our college students.

Dear Church Family,
Thank you for the delicious two meals that was brought to me. It helped so much and is appreciated. Thanks for the phone calls, prayers, cards and visit from Dennis.

Dr. Dennis Atwood, Felicia Fox, and
entire First Baptist congregation,
Thank you greatly from the entire staff
at Mount Olive Middle School for the
treats you provided us. The doughnuts
were warm, delicious and most
