Mr. Wayne L. Atchison has dedicated himself to the edification of the Body of the Messiah through service, and the presentation of his historical research. In 1990, he was ordained a Pastor, and has served several congregations in the northwest United States. Mr. Atchison has written over 100 doctrinal and historical research papers under the pen-name “Christian Technical Notes”. Several of his papers have been reprinted by other publications, including “The Sabbath Sentinel” and “The Journal”. His research is included as references by other book authors.
In 1996, Mr. Atchison published the research book “The Seventh Circle in Bible Prophecy, Astronomy and the Prophetic Timelines of the Bible”. This fully referenced research book demonstrates how and why using the concept of counting circles within circles is the ancient method used to count time. The Biblical riddles found in the book of Revelation are explained by using this ancient method of counting time. For example: the seventh circle is the answer to the riddle of Revelation 17:8 wherein “The Beast” is described as: “…which was, and is not, and notwithstanding it is, and is an eighth, and is of the seven”. This book is foundational to the understanding of how astronomy is used to understand the prophecies of the Creator. In 2000 Mr. Atchison authored a series of very extensive research papers on the ancient lunar calendar used in the Second Temple Era. This research includes the analysis of ancient astronomical sightings, and contains scores of direct quotations from ancient sources. Mr. Atchison’s ancient calendar research is also provided as part of this new book. In addition, over the last forty years Mr. Atchison has taught numerous seminars. Mr. Atchison is esteemed as an expert in Biblical studies and objective historical research.
