The CoverUp are a professional seven piece Function Band based in Sussex, working all over the UK. We can provide you with high quality entertainment for any event.

With their unique arrangements of classic and contemporary pop, funk and soul songs, they have built a fantastic live reputation by wowing audiences at top venues right across the country.

The all-live show is a seven-piece band, including a brass section fronted be a female vocalist. A four piece band and a Jazz quintet can be offered to suit your needs.

Each of the band members have a mass of experience and are used to travelling throughout the UK and internationally, performing to at top venues including the 02 arena, Montreux Jazz Festival, Shepherds Bush Empire, and The Grosvenor House Hotel amongst many others.

The band works with varied audiences including celebrities, entertainers, royalty and large audiences. Members have worked with artists such as Simon Webb (Blue), Alexander Burke (X-Factor finalist), Mick Jones (The Clash), The James Taylor Quartet and Carleen Anderson (Brand New Heavies). Coverup also appear regulary at the Pigalle Club in Londons Picadilly Circus, playing alongside some of the UK's top session musicians.

We work closely with industry professional sound and lighting companies, so we can provide the show and equipment for any size event you may be planning.

Covering bands and artists such as Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Average White Band, Rose Royce the bands high energy shows guarantee to get anyone on their feet dancing.

The Coverup also regularly play at many clubs across the South East, including; The Oceana Group, The Casablanca Jazz club and many more. Get in contact to come and see a live show.

Package Options/Line Up

The band come as a full 7 piece outfit which includes:

ALL PA AND LIGHTING IS PROVIDED

The band usually play 2 x 60min (or in your case 3x45) sets with a break in the middle. This can obviously be adapted to suit you.

The PA system can also be used to play music from an Ipod between of after sets.

A 5 piece package can be provided which includes:

Our repertoire is constantly being updated and requests for events can be played, if asked for in advance.

Equipment

The band provides a full PA system and lighting a package as standard. All of the equipment is entirely professional and is constantly being updated for quality and performance and is covered by public liability and is all PAT tested. The PA system can also be used to play music from an Ipod between of after sets.

I spotted the band in Brighton before our wedding, we had already booked a top class DJ and couldn't really justify the extra expense, however both myself and my father in law were so impressed we couldn't resist.

We booked them and they played as my wife arrived down the aisle and then again doing two sets at the reception. It was probably my greatest choice on our wedding day, well apart from the wife of course!!

Lucy & Matt - Wedding

We had the band for our wedding back in January - best decision we made to book them for the evening - the dance floor was full the whole night, due to their talent, enthusiasm and diverse song list. They even learnt a new song for us so we could dance our "first dance" to the live music - it was fantastic. The beat box was the icing on the cake - what an original and amazing guy - was the talking point of the wedding!!!
