Santiago

Santiago is the capital of Chile. Made in 1541 Santiago has been the capital of Chile since colonial times. Santiago holds the tallest building in Latin America, the Gran Torre Santiago. On September 11, 1541 the Picunche chief, Michimalonco, led an attack on Santiago starting a three year long war. The uprising ultimately failed.

Futbol (Soccer) is the most popular sport in Chile. Futbol is played by 250 million people in over 200 countries.

colors red, white, and blue. The Chilean flag looks a lot like the American flag except it only has one star and two stripes.

Since Chile is such a long country it does not have an exact climate but a lot of different ones.
