AMO will continue to advocate with you that this protection is included in the upcoming Budget Bill. It needs to contain legislative amendments to the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997 and the Ambulance Services Collective Bargaining Act to preclude arbitrators from expanding the scope of work for fire fighters and paramedics respectively through interest arbitration awards. As municipal leaders, we are stronger when we speak with a common voice. Thank you again for your support. Sincerely, Lynn Dollin AMO President Irene Ostrowski on behalf of President Dollin Administrative Assistant – Policy
