Guerrilla warfare-like life

We live in an era where pressure is constantly on. It is guerrilla-like because the pressure is unprecedented and

constantly evolving. This requires new and evolving tactics to cope with this pressure and stay productive. Those

that work from 9 to 5 experience a small fraction of this pressure, but those at the driving seat of their

productivity are acquainted with the full brunt of the pressure.

Every challenge presents unique challenges and abilities that producers have to overcome. Producers who have

become acquainted with this unique challenges have learned to ride the waves of adversity, and come out

winning with the spoils of wealth and health. This is living on the front lines.

Productivity is the chief vehicle that gets us acquainted with this cutting edge pressure. Even middle to lower

end management are not as immune to this pressure as they used to. This is because business and the work

place is evolving into a more team-responsible approach. That is, every member of the team is responsible in his

area of expertize within a team response to meet the standard of recurring new challenges.

Entrepreneurs are also implementing this response approach by utilizing outsourced help. It is the reason there

is an increase in service providers specializing in providing outsourced services such as those offered by Fiverr,

Upwork and so on. This is a response to the guerrilla warfare-like life we live. We need all the help we can get.

This guerrilla warfare-like life also applies to our private life. Our ability to stay focused and resistant to the

pressure that want to derail our productivity is vital. The ability to resist emotional upheavals seeking to poison

our ability to stay sober and maintain the connection to the source that inspires our productivity is the number

one strategic intent.

INTRODUCTION:

DON’T START WITHOUT YOU

There is a plethora of offers available in the offline and online marketplace, all looking to placate the appetite of

hungry buyers. These sellers fail to pay attention to the reality that buyers are looking for a fresh angle. They

want an inspiring story.

People want to be enthralled and want to learn something new. But it is common for way too many

entrepreneurs to sell what everybody else is selling, especially those selling online. This way they miss catering

to their target market with products that have a fresh perspective.

Interesting and fresh sellable products are created by a formula that brings out the perspective of the seller’s

own voice and space. This unique perspective resonate better with the needs of the target market and help

build a raving fan base that is based on who the seller is.

This is differentiation that brings freshness because it comes from a unique experience. The conquering ‘you’ is

written for the purpose of helping anyone, especially internet marketers, to develop their unique value offer

through a process of inspiration.

I have tried for almost 10 years to make money online on a part time basis. I invested in courses, webinars,

videos and more. But only produced negligible financial results. Most people know about failing online. I did not

realize then that I was putting the horse before the cart by jumping to ask someone to buy my product before

introducing myself.

I was rude. The market does not respond kindly to rudeness. I didn’t introduce myself because the target

markets I was trying to sell to didn’t connect with me. There was no story. You story brings authenticity and it

will be this thread that will attract and rally your audience to you.

I firmly belief in learning before earning, but it is important to focus on learning about yourself and how to

stimulate your gift set before you can offer and connect with others. It is authenticity that bring the freshness

and the believability that builds a community around you. It is authenticity that differentiate your offering from

all others and make it impossible for anyone to duplicate. Find yourself and you will be found.

CHAPTER 1:

HANDLING DISTRACTIONS

Time wasters are plenty. These are designed to sap the energy that you need to make a daily contribution to

your set goals. If you can be defeated tactically then your strategy won’t work. That is the reason you have to

pay attention to time wasters.

Most time wasters are disguised as entertainment. Entertainment is designed to steal your attention from what

is productive to what is fun. Identifying the things that take your attention away from your productivity focus is

key.

What entertainment pullers are out there that you know? Perhaps what draws you away from achieving your

daily goals is social media, smart television content or even music from your smartphone. Discipline and

resolution to resist these is vital.

To conquer distractions, you have to be so inspired by your dream that you will preserve you mind from being

clogged by time wasting entertainment. If the inspiration from your dream is not driving you, then you will look

towards entertainment to excite you when you feel tired or bored.

Switching off all distractions is indicative that you are driven and focused. Just today I set myself a goal to do a

test marketing exercise in the Cape Town central business district of some of the art objects I had. I wanted to

test the market reaction to the beverage coasters I had on me. I cold called mainly on a number of coffee shops

and hotels in the area.

I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with people and I was surprised that they felt they had to pity me because I was

asking them straight away to buy my product. I didn’t sell even one coaster but I succeeded in gaining insight on

how to sell coasters and where the market is. I was focused and did not allow distractions to disrupt my goal for

the day.

Just by getting rid of daily distractions and focusing on our goal prepares us for success.

CHAPTER 2:

OVERCOMING DEFEAT

Defeat can come is several ways and it is always according to the person’s frame of reference. The perception

that constitutes defeat differs from person to person according to their frame of reference. There is always a

series of negative occurrences that manage to sneak into our inner walls of peace and protection. And these

unleash their poisonous blows that leaves people reeling from the impact.

The strength of response and counterattack will depend on the fitness of your inner walls. That is, how

accustomed you are in dealing with trying situations and how strong your will power and strength of character

have been trained. It also depends on the severity of the attack. If it is a nuclear degree category attack there

will be much more impact than when it is a normal rocket category attack.

Dealing with it is the key. Obviously if the attack is unprecedented, reliance on accustomed ways of dealing with

it will be inadequate. I have often heard of the saying that you must come to terms with negative circumstances

as a way of coping. Coming to terms has a benefit but a nuclear category of attack needs a nuclear category of

response originating from strong inner muscles.

Today I just witnessed a next door neighbor of mine being attended to by a team of paramedical emergency

personnel in preparation to go battle it out in a hospital. He is going to need all the help he can get from others

and from her own will to survive. So when it comes to a nuclear category attack, you need a team of helpers to

come to your side. That is prayer, trained personnel and your will and strength to overcome.

In the case of my neighbor, he will not only need divine intervention but experts in medical care and the ‘wallet

doctor’. You need prayer because the attack is unprecedented, and so the need for divine counter attack. And

you need trained personnel who will help you with accurate diagnoses and intervention through natural means.

And you need to summon your will power and personal strength to resist wallowing in self-pity and bemoaning

of the situation.

Self-pity, complaining and lack of prayer is the sure way to lose focus and grip in a situation, and allow the

ferocity of the situation dictate to you. Once the situation dictates and puts you on the free fall of its negative

outcomes the prognosis of recovery is dire.

I have found that the reason why we get hit so much by self-pity is that we are so focused on what other people

will think of us or is thinking of us in a situation. People make affirmatives such as; I don’t want so and so to

know that I am sick because I know he is going to gloat. And we let this negatively contribute to an already un-

healthy situation.

We need to de-pride, that is, refrain from making circumstance so much about ourselves and the opinion of

others. And determine to do whatever it takes within the bounds of integrity to overcome defeat.

I remember yesterday we took a drive to Pollsmoor prison in Tokai. In the first place our petrol to drive to the

place was already under pressure. We only had a R93 petrol budget that we got from a family member. My wife

was already wrestling with feelings of disappointment because she had hoped that the family member would

give a little more.

On the plus side the kids were excited to be going on a drive after being cooped up indoors for hours due to the

rain and cold. Halfway on our trip to the prison we ended up earning a traffic fine to the tune of R500 because

we were haggling about directions and I ended up making a left turn on a right turn lane. The penalty left a pinch

in the atmosphere and I was blamed. I didn’t take kindly to being blamed for the ticket fine and I felt

unappreciated.

Anyway, we eventually arrived in Pollsmoor 30 minutes late. The meeting in Pollsmoor was productive and it

restored our spirits. On our way home from Pollsmoor we stopped at Steenberg shopping village. I still had some

stock of coasters we were selling and we went out with my daughter to sell. About an hour later we emerged

from our sales endeavor without any sales.

On the M3 highway to home the children became restless and our 2 year old son annoyed us all the way home

with complain crying due to heat and tiredness. The petrol gauge at this time was flashing critical as we travelled

on the hilly M3 highway. We eventually arrived home without any embarrassing stop. It was a victory!

My point is that there is a lot of strength wired in us to overcome defeat if we resist falling into nefarious

negative self-introspection. Even if the pressure generated by the category of the attack seemed too much to

bear, resolving to remain strong and taking it one day at a time is victory in itself.

CHAPTER 3:

PUSHING FORWARD

Negative circumstances don’t change at the rate we want them to change or even change into what we want

them to change into. They change into what it is. And what it is, is where you have to be. The place is usually the

last place we want to be because we are wired to be in a place that is in our mind. That is, what we perceive.

This means that there is an internal cloud veiling us and keeping us from reaching a state of soberness from

addiction to our perceptions.

The saying is true that insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting a change. This is

what our perceptions do, they keep us in the same place and block us from pushing forward. The veil can only

be taken down when we repeatedly focus on our daily meditation of the Word of God. The walls will come down

when divine thoughts replace ingrained subconscious habits.

The goal on pushing forward is to be established on your land. Land is metaphor for the area you dominate with

the value you give. The greater the value the greater the land. Value also translate into physical land. Many

people set their sights on physical land before they can first conquer the land of value provision.

Value provision proceeds from meditating on value. Like attract like. When we have internal value this gives

birth to external value in the form of material possessions. And this is the true land. This is wealth. Even if

someone should rob of your physical land, you can manifest it all over again because the value comes from

inside of you.

So, where do you want to stay? Where do you want to build your house? The place where you can do more

good is the best place to start at. Start at your Jerusalem. In business there is a strategy of market penetration,

where a business focuses on one geographic area in order to dominate with its business offerings before

developing a strategy to launch into different areas. Ultimately, the competencies that the business have gained

in the successful area will be utilized to dominate a similar new geographic area.

Land show up in you before its value is delivered in the natural. That is why you see people gravitating to your

personality in business or your ethos in business rather than what your product does. The product is just a

package or representation of your business ethos.

What is your passion? Your passion is linked to your gift set. Passion only flow when you develop the innate gift

through meditation on the Word of God. And this will manifest the good land, for your gifts are good. And when

your land is good it will attract many to it.

In the process of pushing towards your given land you will encounter resistance. Resistance will primarily come

in the form of fear to change or financial loss. These fears are normally overcome by your refusal to stay in your

current non-productive situation and determination to succeed.

Additionally, some situations leave us no choice but to act. Most people don’t change if there is still some

financial reward attached to a lousy situation.

Moreover, some people are unable to make progress towards productivity because they are held back by their

families and friends. Resolve to hear first from what inspires you before listening to the advice of family and

friends. No matter how close you are, no other person can understand the inner package you have and the urge

to develop it except you and the God that put it there. In fact, those closest to you don’t have to understand it,

they will encounter your gifting as you work on it and it matures.

Additionally, always be ready to take advantage of opportunities. Opportunities seldom announces their coming,

just be ready. Just today my cousin had an opportunity to travel and earn some cash but since his passport was

not ready, the opportunity passed by.

CHAPTER 4:

THE FORCE OF MOTIVATION

Emotional upheavals cause low energy to churn. When low energy churns creativity dips and so is to the quality

of your work. In this state the best thing to do is rest. Resting will recharge your divine batteries. The source of

all creativity is divine, if the flow of creativity from the third heaven is blocked, work stops or work become

uninspiring.

Uninspiring work will not inspire anyone. Yesterday, the probability of losing my precious ring caused the

emotional upheaval for me and a surge of my available daily productivity energy dwindled. This is what had

happened: the buy-back option that I entered into with a pawn shop had expired and I was 7 days late. In this

instance, the pawn shop is not obliged to do anything but sell the item. Although I would have rescued the ring

before the expiry date, I was not able to because I was broke.

The ring is very valuable to me and my wife, not only is it a testament of our love but it is also an enduring legacy

of God’s favor in our lives and marks 10 good years of marriage together. Instances such as this requires one to

put more logs (as it were) on the inner fire of motivation by meditating on God’s divine Word. The glow of the

unceasing supply of creativity will be rekindled again.

Another major cause of a dip in energy is the effect of the negativity transfer from others, especially those

closest to you. Depression, melancholy and so can be transferred on to you, this is what the armed forces refers

to as collateral damage. It is an infection. It causes the wheels of your creativity to come to a screeching halt.

Yesterday, my wife was emotionally strained due to financial woes, and the breakthrough financially did come

but there was a residue of wreckage that marred our peace due to the way she reacted that day. Motivation is

internal before it is external. As much as it is good to set a deadline in projects, it is even better to include

compensation for periods of ebbing flow of energy that has the potential to slow down the progress and even

affect quality the of your work.

Many people look to the external for basis of motivation, like joining a mastermind group. Look first to the

source of power driving your work. Ensure that the energy that supplies motivation and quality of your work is

constantly flowing.

The supply of the source of motivation is abundant. However, the flow can be interrupted by a myriad of things.

Learn to discern the disrupters and the sources of these disrupters and you will be constant in your deliverables.

CHAPTER 5:

BANISH ANGUISH

Anguish is a state of having an open internal wound that is festering like a sore full of pus, yak and yak! Anguish

hurts. Hurting is toxic. Divorce can be a source of anguish or a loss of a loved one. There is a place in us that is

only reserved for God. If we elevate anything to the status of importance such as to include it in that coveted

place, we risk being hit by anguish when trials emerge. Nothing should be allowed in there except the adoration

of God. The place is sacred. It is a place of worship. Secondary things should keep out.

Love should not be wasted on materials things. Love is the virtue governing our sacred place. Giving your love to

material things is giving access to your coveted place. The place that is reserved for your creator only. Even our

loved ones can’t enter, only God because He is perfect and can be trusted to the infinite.

The Greek language is so excellent because it differentiate the different aspects of love. There is Agape love,

which is reserved for God because He is perfect. God also loves with Agape love. Agape love is unconditional.

Secondly, there is Storge love, this is brotherly love. The love we love our family and next of kin. This love is not

free from conditions and it often breaks because it depends on affection, even if blood is thicker than water.

And there is Eros. This is the weakest kind of love because it is based purely on physical gratification, it carries

with it the promise that I will love you only when you please me, especially sexually. The understanding to these

Greek definitions of love helps us to know how to give our love.

Anguish occurs due to the kind of emotional attachment we have placed for things. If you attached your job to

the level of importance such as to include it in the space reserved for worship and the job fails us, the fall out

causes anguish.

Banish anguish by decluttering your sacred space from things, things that change, which are here today gone

tomorrow. When we stay plucked in to the divine source by keeping the sacred place we will always be in a

position to recreate our wealth back even if such things as an economic crash happen.

It no surprise why economists call an economic crash a depression! Depression is a free fall into the abyss of

circumstances in the absence of an anchor in our sacred place. Anguish is an emotional resident of the house of

depression. Banish it by reconfiguring your sacred place.

Moreover, most people can’t recognize the source of the insidious infection of anguish due to the clutter in the

sacred place. The body can cope with anything as long as the spirit is not crushed. Healing can’t occur if we stay

exposed to the source of the anguish. Therefore, endeavor to stop the infection and the pus will go away.

CHAPTER 6:

DON’T POLLUTE YOURSELF

Pollution is allowing doubt, worrying and letting other people’s opinions to govern us and charter our course in

the place of the leading in us. Doubt leads to scattered energy, you are all over the place because you can’t

move forward. Subsequently, failure to move forward by the internal leading because of the derailing effects of

doubt means you are exposed to alternative voices.

It can be the voice of your parent, academics, gurus and the conscience of popular culture. It is a frustrating

place. Polluting voices robs us of progress. That was me not so long ago. I was trying to make the make money

online industry work for me. I didn’t know what to do. I was exposed to so much information and being led away

by much winds of instruction. In this instance, it is easy to move from one course to another and be saturated

with information overload. This is doubt taking over from the natural place of being led from the inside.

When you meditate on the Word of God, you will reach a place of instruction. When we pre-occupy ourselves

with the Word of God we come to a state where we hear God in our spirit and start being led. This is a knowing

what to do.

Doubt blocks divine instruction because there is not enough in-filling of the Word. Knowledge can’t replace

leadership. I was unhappy because I was spending money investing in personal development but not getting any

return financially. We end up blaming the providers of the knowledge instead of doing a soul search. Doubt

cause pollution because it lets in counterfeit voices emanating externally to replace internal leading. Only the

God who bestowed us with the gifts can show us how to use it.

Counterfeit voices cause us to go around in circles and not to really develop to the place of wealth creation.

Invest in the meditation of the Word first so you can be led before you invest in courses that will lead you to

conflict.

Additionally, developing your-self through internal leading means you bring out the real you and this attracts

your fans to like you. When they like you it is easy to build a community with a facility like Facebook.

The make money online industry is largely a personality based industry. You can’t camouflage yourself with

done for you work and stay relevant with your fans, people need to feel you and the feel won’t be resonate if

you are polluted. People want you. People want to hear your story. People are inspired by other people stories

of triumph. The conquering ‘you’.

Doubt stifles the development of your gifting and skill development. When you doubt and are swayed by every

wind of instruction into confusion there is no concerted development of skills and no experience to produce a

track record. Doubt also give rise to inactivity.

Moreover, people can’t buy from you if there are not convinced by your story. It is easy for them to connect

with you when they see you have a proven track record of verifiable results. This is the first rule of marketing.

Banish the doubt that prevents others from following you and you will convert. That is why your story is so

powerful and can’t not be duplicated. You can do it because the Word works for everyone.

Furthermore, what does worry do? Worry cripples, cripples and cripples. It is like a lump in the throat that

refuses to go away. The toxicity of worry is in its negative cloud of presence.

Sometimes what we worry about is not even real. We worry because we think something will come true

because of past experience or logic. For instance, you have overcome cancer, now you worry that it might come

back, we worry about our children safety, and we worry about the economy.

If you can do something about the reason for your worry go ahead and do it and stop worrying. Be anxious for

nothing! The reason worry reach us in certain areas is that we have not surrendered ourselves to our creator in

those areas. We want to keep the control or we belief we are in control.

Worry can be crippled by surrendering to the creator’s will. It does not mean we can’t entreat Him for clemency

or relief. Surrender means we accept that whatever happens was authored by him, even if it is painful. We trust

implicitly and recognized that it is He that gives life and He is the master of time and circumstances.

It is difficult to beat worry if you don’t belief in the creator. The poison of worry is overcome by trust in the

omnipotent creator. Allowing worry does not help change your situation. Despite all our efforts to ensure safety

or take insurance, negative things still occur, so why worry. Focus on living and giving to others with your

productive and worry will disappear from your horizon.

Additionally, faith brings down the insidious cloud of worry. Faith in God and those that love you. It never cease

to amaze me when I see the innocent faith that my children have in me. As long as I am with them they are at

peace. They worry about nothing. In the afternoon I went for walk with my two kids in the delicious winter sun

and I so enjoyed the simple pleasure of just walking with them. Faith in God turns you into a child again. Life

becomes enjoyable.

Moreover, be careful of the polluting factor of people’s opinions. As much as people’s opinion have value, if that

value is not incorporated into what you are already designed to do or to the current walk you are in, this will do

more harm than good. On the other hand, if you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there.

That is, you will be swayed by people’s opinions, especially the opinion of your hero.

Remember, opinion can come through a variety of streaming sources, it doesn’t not necessarily have to be a

physical person communicating to you. What reaches the attention of your mind is an opinion. Opinion is more

valuable if it contributes to a tactical maneuver that assist you in your journey, especially if you encounter a

blockage. It does lead the process or usurp it. You will know you are in the right direction when you feel fulfilled.

When you feel alive and you are excited to wake up in the morning and you can’t wait to get going.

People’s opinions can also be nasty and designed just to break your spirit. Don’t succumb to it and don’t allow it

access into you coveted space. Stay focused to what you are created for and the opinions of others will be just

that, opinions.

CHAPTER 7:

BE VULNERABLE

Opening up to other people is key if you want to get their support. Being vulnerable is the way people get to

know you and fellowship with you. Be yourself. There is no one else like you. It does not mean opening up for

the sake of opening up. You open to give something of value. And everyone has value, everyone has a story.

The rewards for opening and connecting with people far outweigh the risks. Your money is in other people

connecting with you and in the communication of the value you carry. It has always been about relationships. So

put yourself out there. There is a risk of rejection, but the spin offs from that is that you will be living and on the

way to the top of your mountain.

There are people that loathe dealing with other people for fear of being rejected or for the belief that there are

not people’s person. This is cowardice. Cowardice is the fear of opening yourself up to other people and giving.

If you are a person then you are a people’s person. This is the truth.

Although we live in an era of specialization and industrial revolution, we are still communal in relationships.

Even if you do an administrative or engineering tasks that are not necessarily very people intensive, you still do

that for people and someone is available who interfaces with people on your behalf in the organization. So you

can’t get away from people.

You can’t build a following without opening up. People need to follow you based on their being inspired by you

and your solution. They want to know who you are, where do you come from, what challenges have you

triumphed over to get to where you are. Those that master relationships with others build more value because

they are able to inspire other people with their story and product. They resonate better. So open up!

Many come from such hard circumstances that it is difficult to get pass through their pain to connect with other

people. They prefer to hide. The pain makes them shy. The pain makes them ashamed. The pain makes them

give excuses why they can’t share their story and stand up.

Remember your money is with other people, the sooner you get going in opening up to others the quicker the

resonance that bring rewards. Give value when you open up and you won’t go wrong.

I was just reflecting how the other day I actually laid down my pride and went to a church and admitted that I

need a food parcel. I even signed up to a monthly food parcel grant. Unbelievable! What that did for me was to

expose myself, and made me vulnerable. Although I did that once I am glad to say I am no longer in a situation

that requires me to go to a church to ask for a food parcel.

CHAPTER 8:

GO GET IT

During this information era opportunities abound. It never cease to amaze me when I see the multitude of

internet marketing courses that are available, many which teach similar concepts. The courses are a blueprint

out of a mundane non-productive life. What we suffer from is paralysis to do. Paralysis to take action.

It is not a surprise that you would often hear the internet marketing teacher encouraging students to take

action. Nothing happens if no action is taken. We suffer from information paralysis. We also lack the motivation

to want it hard enough to be willing to do what it takes to see it happen. Notice I didn’t say whatever it takes.

There is provision already all we need is to do what it takes.

I concur with the opinion of the internet marketing teacher that without implementation teaching is a waste.

Midway between success and implementation is failure. Failure is a necessary precursor during the taking action

How many times do we have to fail? As much as it takes to reach you goals. Many people give up because of the

reality of financial loss accompanied with failure. However, most opportunities such as those found online don’t

require a heavy capital investment to get started. In fact, always minimize financial loss by going for

opportunities with less risk and low financial outlay.

Those that succeed look past failure and its losses and focus on the prize. Most times people are discouraged by

family and loved ones when failure occurs. Conversely, some people are encouraged to abandon the ship to

Information is also our enemy. We know too much to do anything. Information seduces us to a position of

somewhere in a hard drive have people purchased?

That is why educated people are not necessarily millionaires. Most entrepreneurs that have produced to the

value of millionaires did not even enter the tertiary class room. They were doers. They learnt from repeated

failure. We don’t have to figure out anything, all we have to do is just follow the example of someone who has

already achieved and apply that too our gift set and the way we are being led. And take lots of action. Don’t

copy someone’s story but glean the principles and apply them to you.

Additionally, people are robbed from taking action by fear of failure. They fear failure because their false sense

of pride convinces them that it will hurt. They also erroneously assume that others will gloat over their failure. It

is a corrupt self- image. A self-image failure. Failure to look past themselves. So we would rather criticize others

who are doing because we afraid to do.

Doers encourage would-be producers because they understand the process. Those that spend their time

criticizing are cowards who hide behind their corrupt self-image of fear. Go out there and starting doing.

CHAPTER 9:

DARK DAYS

Dark days are days when you reach a low point in morale and circumstances. The low point is where you feel the

least prepared to do your daily productivity. These are days when your internal productivity slows down because

of enemy feelings. You are irritable. You are discouraged.

This is an invasion of malicious feelings and their attempt is to coup you off your productivity kingdom. So

identify the chain of events that specifically led to your low situation and why. Furthermore, is this situation the

cause of a long culmination of a series of setbacks that have left scars that are now becoming tender?

Whatever happens don’t let the invasive feelings take control, if they, do they will also influence your mind,

which will led to a further deterioration of the situation. Invasion is most destructive when your mind is clouded

and you don’t have a grip in the situation.

Don’t let your mind experience a blank out due to the pressure of the situation. And don’t fall for the temptation

of using anything that will cause your mind to blank out. Maybe you have a tendency to deal with overwhelming

surges of negative feelings by escapism. Don’t do it. Stay sober.

Moreover, refuse to sit in that condition and mop. There is no benefit to sitting in the valley of misery. When we

sit on misery we invite other people to come and feel sorry for us. Essentially people are turned off by misery,

but are attracted to joy. That is why not many will come to your pity party.

Expecting sympathy will not take you out of the situation, rather it will keep you at the low point longer that it is

necessary. When some people don’t get their sympathy fix from their loved ones they resort to all sort of things

that keep them in it. Get out of it by deciding to get out. Feelings will catch up as soon as you start walking like a

victor.

Deciding to stand is very powerful, even if the feelings tarry to cooperate with you decision, internally you are

already standing. You are already on your way to victory even if the situation in the natural temporarily prevails.

When we allow situation overwhelm to drive us we won’t be able to Identify the reasons for our low situations.

Diagnosing is critical because it helps us avoid the recurrence or at least it prepares us to be ready to fight when

it recurs. In the natural, the situation may persist for longer than we expect and that is why reactionary and

harmful coping mechanism are not good.

Furthermore, if necessary, prepare for a long drawn out battle with the situation. The greatest way of preparing

is to not stop being productive, when you cease productivity you close off you survival means. So don’t. If you

need to rest, do it. But don’t shut down office.

At one point my wife and I found ourselves at poverty door. It was a culmination of a series of things and some

bad decisions. It deteriorated so bad that we found ourselves struggling to eat. Despite efforts to connect with

new sources of income, our situation didn’t resolve immediately. I am thankful no one came to feel sorry for us

and that helped us keep perspective and remain resolute to beat the situation.

It was approximately 5 months before the battle for survival was won and we came out tougher. There were

sporadic instances of discouraging days, however, we stayed focused and refused to let the situation dictate to

our inner peace and faith in God.

The surge of emotions will be strong in response to the stimulus created by the negative situation. Those that

continue to work and remain productive despite setbacks have a degree of strength to resist emotional take

over. You need to pull from your internal strength to be victorious over emotions that come to cloud your way

forward.

You may not feel like it but the fact remains that bills still have to be paid and business still need to be managed.

People have different ways of dealing with this emotional rollercoaster, whatever your strategy, just make sure

that you don’t stop the process of productivity. Take time out to rest and delegate while you are away.

When you let emotions be on the driving seat during dark days, they ruin your productivity. You are like the sea

when it is tossed to and fro by the wind. It is more dangerous when this turbulent emotions settle inside of us.

This settlement expresses itself in feelings of rage, anger, bitterness or revenge. Settlement of emotions

predisposes us to be consumed from the inside. Don’t be a victim.

I believe people reach a breaking point because they assume a victim mentality over a trying situation. Instead

of just realizing that things do happen. A victim mentality means you are already owning up to defeat and it is

difficult to stay focused and fight. It is the victim mentality that drive people to destructive coping mechanisms

such as alcoholism. This way you are already knocked off your productivity path and on the way to loss. On the

way to oblivion. Dwelling in the streets is synonymous with oblivion.

CHAPTER 10:

WHAT IS YOUR GAME PLAN

There is no better game plan than being productive. Producing something of value and putting it out there for

people to benefit. It is more powerful when it has your personal signature, no one else can duplicate that. This is

the key to differentiation that brings about a unique selling point to your product.

Copying someone else story is a quick way to lose, the lack of authenticity and passion will not endear anyone to

your offering. I remember when I found myself unfulfilled by my job I decided to follow my passion for making

money online.

The initial fatal mistake I made was to come into the arena of internet marketing without a story. I pursued

other people affiliate offers but did not appropriate them and integrate them with my story for better

resonance with the target market. Secondly, I underestimated the maturation process. That is, the time it takes

to develop the skill set of internet marketing enough to be able to integrate it with my story.

Anyone can learn the principles but not anyone is able to use the same principles to carve out a unique offering

That is why unemployment abounds. We are waiting to be given. While what we have to do is find our internal

niche, then stimulate it via inspiration to manifest through a proven business system.

rest of the world. And you want anyone who can hear to hear your story. A market place is just that, a ready

platform for your story. This is an addressable audience, the audience you are going to wow with your message

and that is best suited for what you have to say.

The reason why we engage in target marketing is because we want the best qualified audience to be exposed to

our message. The marketing profession calls market penetration the process of taking your message to as many

qualified persons as possible within a defined area. Doing market penetration is giving as many people as

possible the opportunity to hear your story by putting it across them in such way that it will be difficult for them

not to respond to your call for them to take action.

Online marketing presents a wonderful opportunity called search optimization to achieve market penetration.

This optimization is done by giving the searcher the highest chance to find your advertisement by choosing all

expectations because they see themselves as not qualified enough to deliver on the requirements stipulated on

the opportunities.

It is true that we can’t expect to release different results in our lives while operating on the same trajectory. And

most people don’t even recognize that they need to make changes to exploit opportunities. Other people

remain caught in their old ways of doing things despite the reality that there is need to change to keep up with

rapidity of changes in the marketplace.

Those that are able to keep up are labeled innovators by marketers and those that don’t are called laggards.

Don’t be an internal laggard. We are fast replacing traditional personal computers with smartphones as our key

processing devices.

Pride comes in when we are lost in ourselves. We believe that everything revolves around us and lives to serve

us. We sometimes legitimize pride with the idea of perception. People say this is my view. However, perception

has a frame of reference since the person is able to absorb information from the environment and assimilate it

according to his experiences. Pride rejects information and assimilation so the place the people are internally, is

the inhabitation of an information desert.

Pride also shows up in what a person knows and have accumulated. You belief that nothing is better than what

you know. It is an inability to be taught and hence learn above what they already know. People like this don’t

partner with anyone. People like this are highly opinionated and inflexible in their views.

Making money online and offline requires the ability to learn from others. Your productivity is not only supplied

from a sole source of your internal leading but also from other sources of internal leading. You may know how to

conduct search engine optimization but be weak in traffic generation. Your productivity in this case will be

boosted by cooperating with someone who is good in the area you are not.

Inability to move fast to take advantage of an opportunity even if it does not suit our competencies is why

people remain in the same place. They want opportunities to conform to their own world. This is why pride is so

lethal to your productivity.

Adapt to the change and take on the challenge through learning what it is that needs to be learned to exploit the

opportunity. Realize that an opportunity has a window. It is important to move fast. So learn quickly. And move

quickly. It is increasingly rare for an opportunity to always come out precisely suiting your competencies.

We have to have our own change management strategy; learn fast and implement fast to take advantage of an

opportunity. So you need to unlearn some old stuff and learn new things perpetually to conquer.

It is not easy to transforms ourselves into this kind of a person. However, just being aware of the trap of pride is

already a start. Decide to get out of your pride zone first. Be aggressive in your learning and preparation and you

will soon catch up with the rest of the movers and shakers out there.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Inside of you is the story that many are waiting to hear. Within the attentive

ears and actions of your target audience is where you money lies. Plenty of it. The first step to overcoming is

needs of others in a fresh and unique way, that only you can do. And hence no duplication. Only freshness.

Your wealth is tied to other people and you can’t escape dealing with them. This will not be a problem as soon

as you find your own creative and productive space, then will not wait to share it with others. You will have the

courage to conquer as you are put together. The conquering ‘you’ will be unleashed. Go make your history.
