OVERVIEW• The main engines are extremely powerful and capable of sailing
through 1m thick pack-ice at a steady 6 knots. • Most of the machinery is in good running condition. • No satellite receivers and no audio-visual system aboard. • AC equipment are in good condition and of good size.• The sewage system needs to be upgraded to comply with MARPOL. • The davits, one at each side, drive the 8.5meter long life boats with 45 passenger capacity each.• The anchor windlass in the forepeak, the capstans and all bollards / fairleads look formidable. • All outside doors are of rugged construction with a clear opening of 160cm and 40cm sill and
with handles for water tight enclosure. • There are no portholes on the main and lower deck. Natural lighting is coming through extensive
number of skylight -hatches with storm shutters- at the Boat Deck level. • Also, there is no reception area and no food lift. • The 20m2 galley and the 30m2 storage rooms are in good condition.
MY KHOZAM
PRESENT LAYOUTKhozam features 4 decks: Bridge, Boat, Main, Lower, all with strong sheer (8%) and camper (4%).
Today accommodation is split in 2 zones. The fore zone, where 19 cabins accommodate 34 persons and the main deck aft zone where 6 cabins added in 1994 accommodate 20 persons. The excess of berths at the area fore would provide accommodation for people finding refuge aboard following a salvage operation while those aft were intended for the security.

toilets. No portholes. • Main Deck (220m2): 6 off cabins with 2 berths each and 1 with single berth. Four cabins share
common showers and toilets. No portholes but skylight openings at boat-deck.• Upper deck (92m2). 3 off cabins with single berths for Captain, Chief Officer and Chief Engineer. • Air conditioning is of the all-air system, centrally distributed but no individual cabin control.
Separate central heating elements in all cabins.
MY KHOZAM
Aft Accommodation Zone (192m2):• Four cabins with 4 berths each and two cabins with 2 berths each, all with en-suite bathrooms and
good-sized windows for natural lighting. Average cabin size: 12m2
• Owner's suite (40 m2).• Because of the main deck sheer line and the flat helideck on top, headroom is huge.• Air conditioning is of the all-air system, centrally distributed with volume control only. The two accommodation zones do not communicate through interior routes – only through outside decks. The Owner's suite at the helideck is accessible from outside only.
