WINTER – A TIME TO REFLECT, GROW AND PROSPER

I read recently that "Winter is a time of reflection - everything dies off or goes within it itself to grow and be renewed once spring is here again. We as people tend to celebrate being indoors with our families and friends, (Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s) being warmed by fires built in the fireplace and in our hearts - building our foundational relationships."It also tends to be a time where we think about what we want to accomplish for the next year (resolutions). And a time where we huddle indoors together to attend a program or class, to learn and develop our skills and capacities, and to nurture creativity and our imagination so that we may live more enriched, healthy and fulfilled lives. At The Community House, our winter programs and classes are set. Our dedicated Programs and Enrichment team have been very busy over the last few months planning and scheduling TCH-held winter programs and classes - offering children and adults learning opportunities to engage in beyond traditional schooling; encompassing basic enrichment skills related to work, family, community or leisure to personal fulfillment as lifelong learners. Reflect, grow, prosper…and enjoy! Best wishes from all of us at The Community House for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!“Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school” ~Albert Einstein
