A new year brings fresh challenges and perspectives to all and we hope that our choice of topic will give insight and support as the year progresses.

This will be the first time that the events in our programme can be booked online using our new website. We do hope that this will be a major step forward for all our members.

CONSULTATIONS

It is the aim of the College to demonstrate sensitivity, mediumship and trance of the highest standard. All our consultants have trained for many years and are vetted on a regular basis to ensure standards are maintained.

However, please be aware that a consultation is a spontaneous process and the outcome cannot be guaranteed. For example, it may not be possible to make contact with a specific person in spirit but others may come through with messages for the sitter. On balance, a good reading should help you achieve clarity and insight into your life situation, and enable you to move forward with confidence, empowered to make your own decisions. Sessions last for 50mins unless otherwise stated.

Each term the College presents a variety of respected and well known psychics, mediums and healers from all over the United Kingdom and abroad. While some come to visit us mainly to give lectures and workshops, we are delighted that many of them also choose to make themselves available for private consultations at the College. Please book early as places are limited.

• Before a consultation it may be helpful to reflect on what it is you require from the session. Do you want evidence of survival (messages from loved ones in spirit) or spiritual/life guidance? Do you need to see a medium or a psychic, a healer or spiritual counsellor?

• Most consultants allow their sessions to be recorded. The College charges £5 per CD. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own recording device.

• For those consulting a medium for the first time we would ask that you come to the sitting with an open mind and a willingness to be receptive. More information can be found in our leaflet ‘Guidelines on Consulting a Sensitive/Medium’, available from reception.

• It is advisable to wait six months from bereavement before booking an appointment with a medium.

The standard scientific assumption is that the mind is located inside the head, and is nothing but the activity of the brain. But there are good reasons for thinking that this view is much too limited. People can influence others at a distance just by looking at them, even if they look from behind and if all sensory clues are eliminated. Animals can be affected by human looks, and vice versa. Monumental sites such as Avebury are believed to be sacred landscapes and ancient centres of power that incorporate Ley Lines and Earth Energies. The College offers a comprehensive training course for those who wish to become healers. The College course is accredited by UK Healers, and each student is bound by their code of conduct. This means that on successful completion of the accreditation course and an examination, you can practice as a healer in a wide variety of settings.In accordance with UKH standards, the course takes a minimum of two years and consists of six modules lasting a term each. All modules are run each term with module one places being allocated after an interview with the tutors. Students are required to attend all sessions and practice healing techniques outside the course as required. To reserve a private consultation or a place on a workshop/course, payment must be made in full at the time of booking.Provided the booking is outside the notice period (outlined below), a 3-day grace period will then apply.

Should you cancel during this period, you will be given a full refund. Thereafter, the following applies:
