u On casual occasions women would wear long, simple, velvet dresses.
u With peaked headdresses.
u Gold belts with jewels.
u Flat shoes made with linen and leather.
u The outfits worn were simple.
Fancy Outfits
u On fancy occasions beautiful gowns with lace, taffeta, velvet, and silk were worn.
u Gold headdresses that had a resemblance to horns.
u Instead of belts, there were corsets and thick hem lines.
u Flat shoes that were made out of velvet, linen, and leather. They had leaf designs.

wear simple, fluffy/pillowy shirts.
u The shirts were made out of velvet and linen.
u The pants worn would be made out of less expensive velvet and silk.
u Casual shoes were slightly pointed and made out of linen and leather.
u It was uncommon to see a man with accessories.

u Noblemen fancy outfi ts were consisting of obnoxious tops and simple pants.

u To fancy parties or special occasions men would wear small heels with pointed shoes.
u Some men carried swords to state how wealthy they are.

The Color Rule
. In the middle ages there was a rule about the color clothing that you wear. You could not wear gold or purple because that represented royalty.. They would wear beige, brown, white, or other dark colors.
Fancy hatscasual hats. Henin. Steeple Henin. Butterfly

. Cocked hat
. Veil

Fun fact, the hats they usually wore were. Called cowls, made out of wood, and used for protection.
