Creative Writing Session – Join Karissa for a fun, interactive session focusing on a writing activity with time to share results. Short Story Discussions - Join Melissa as she reads aloud some short stories, followed by opportunity for discussion. Science Literacy Week(September 21-27) Melissa will highlight some interesting science books, and offer some content from the Librarys National Geographic database. Join Recreationist Denise as she facilitates a session of cognitively stimulating games. Because our minds matter! Fun and Games Sign up for Trivia Time, Twenty Questions, Brain Teasers and Riddles, Categories, Way with Words or Card Bingo! (all that is required is a deck of cards to play Card Bingo) Museum Talks Listen to one of our resident experts from the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre on a variety of topics. Back to School Call in Sept 3rd and let’s chat about your school days. Share your favourite memories of childhood friends, special teachers and subjects. Pawpaws: Niagara’s Forgotten Native Fruit with host Paul DeCampo Join Paul as he shares his passion for the largest fruit bearing tree native to the Niagara Region.
