NCCC President Jochen Zeil said he was pleased with the consultation process,but would like to see the project looked at in terms of the bigger picture. “Weneed to learn to live smarter and this is just simply making traffic by car easier,”he said. “What we think the huge need and opportunity for in Canberra is to lookat this as a whole exercise for sustainability. “It’s all thought in cars and not

getting people away from cars. The whole infrastructure supports the addiction,that’s the problem.”

Cardo consultants are seeking comment from the community about what theythink should be looked at in the Sandford Street Extension project.
