THE NIGHT OF THE 24th OF DECEMBER

• The family has dinner together because we celebrate the “Nochebuena”.

• In the night “Papa Noel” comes to our house, he enters in our hoses, by the smokestack, and he leaves presents under our Christmas tree

• Papa Noel is from Lapland, he travels in a sled with nine reindeers.

25th DECEMBERIn the morning, the people open the presents. This day

we celebrate Christmas and the family has lunch together.

THE NIGHT OF 31st DECEMBER

This night is important because we say goodbye to year, and we receive the new year. At the 12 o’clock we eat twelve grapes, as symbol of luck and them we drink champagne.

THE NIGHT OF 5th JANUARY

This night is important because the three magic kings: Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar, come to our house by three camels, and they give us presents.

They are from the Orient.
