We have an estimated higher amount of activity in almost all areas of our bazaar. The Chili Luncheon brought in almost $500 more this year, the addition of the vendors and more to sell in the CCLC gave us total NET proceeds of $8,837.90. A BIG THANK YOU to all that made this possible. Now it is time to allocate these funds. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and some may not be aware but all but a few dollars of this amount will go right back out of the DWM budget to be distributed to missions and a few church needs. This is where you come in. If your group within the church such as hospitality, daycare, or those involved with one of our church services, knows of a need that this money can be distributed to, please contact me with your suggestions. The allocation committee will be meeting soon to determine where this year's proceeds will be distributed. The deadline is 12/13/2016. NEW OR GENTLY USED CLOTHING NEEDS The School Resource Centers in the public school system provide services to students that need clothes, shelter and food. This year the schools have a large population of homeless students. These students have no place to live, just sleeping on any couch available, and many have nothing more than the clothes on their backs. The Resource Centers have a serious need for coats, jackets, gloves, hats, scarves, warm socks, warm pajamas and slippers, blue jeans, sweat pants and sweat shirts. The items can either be new or gently used. The coordinators will make sure that the items go to the kids that really need them. If you would like to help with this need, please bring items to the church office. If you have any quest ions, p lease contact Lee Ann Snelling at 502-319-3802.
