Repeat the application method throughout the entire section.

Release the top section. Beginning ½” from hairline, take a ¼ “slice. Apply FORMULA A approximately 2” from scalp to mid-lengths. Continue repeating application using back-to-back foils until section complete. Process at room temperature for 35 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, cleanse & dry hair.

Repeat the sectioning. Release Section 2. To create further dimension, place a few random foils & apply FORMULA B from the mid-lengths & the ends. Mastery Point: To create the “Cheeky Strobe” effect, highlight color will be visible & illuminate the cheek area.

Release the top section. Beginning ½” from hairline, take a ¼ “ slice. Apply FORMULA B to the mid-lengths. Continue repeating the application using back-to-back foils until the section is complete. Process at room temperature for up to 50 minutes, or until the desired results achieved. Rinse thoroughly, cleanse and towel dry.

Apply FORMULA C to the pre-lightened hair. Process for up to 20 minutes or until the desired tone is reached. Rinse thoroughly, cleanse & condition using Matrix Biolage or Total Results ™

shampoo & conditioner.

Release Section 2. Take a ¼” diagonal slice parting, create a macro weave, and place on the foil. Apply FORMULA A from the scalp area to the ends.

Create a “U” shape section that begins at the corner of each eye, & reaches toward the crown of the head. Secure for control. This is Section 1.

Take a parting 2” below your previous section, creating a horseshoe shaped section around the parietal ridge & secure, this is Section 2. All of the remaining hair will be Section 3.

Release the occipital section. Repeat this “pinch cutting” technique in four sections of the occipital but include slight elevation. Combine occipital section with nape section and clip for control.

Release the crown section, and repeat technique using the same elevation as the occipital section. Cross-check the length.

Release the lower half of the side section. Match to the length of the back perimeter, but angle slightly longer. Repeat on the other side. Release upper half of the side section. Over-direct back to match the length from the crown section, elevate slightly and razor cut. Repeat on the other side.

Release the fringe region. Create a horizontal parting approximately one inch behind the hairline. Direct to the side and the razor inside the length from short to long. Working toward the back of fringe, create another horizontal sub-section and direct to the opposite side. Razor inside the length from short to long. Continue alternating directions until complete.

The bottom section will be divided vertically in thirds. Starting on the side, pinch the bottom strands & razor cut the lower third on either side creating a point. Repeat in the center & the other side section.When complete, cross-check lengths of points. Clip this bottom section for control.

On damp hair, create a triangular section at the fringe region. Extend two vertical partings from the back point of the triangle to behind the ears.

Using horizontal partings, divide the side sections in half. Clip sections for control. Extend the horizontal partings around the crown area and secure. Another horizontal part creates the occipital area and the bottom is left loose.

Using irregular partings, separate out a horseshoe shaped section around the parietal and gather into a high ponytail. Twist the ponytail, wrap it around the base and pin it in place leaving the ends out.

Underneath the bun, use a curling iron to create slight lift. At the front, use the teeth of a tail comb for additional lift and a balanced silhouette. Tuck the sides behind the ears and spray with STYLE LINK STYLE FIXER.

Starting at the back, curl from the mid-lengths to ends directing toward the center back. At the sides, start at the ear and curl the mid-lengths and ends away from the face. Work toward the side hairline.

At the front of the head, divide into four pie-shaped sub-sections. Curl from the mid-lengths to the ends elevating each sub-section lower as you proceed.

Brush through the hair with a cushion brush and flat iron the ends.
