The The Institute does this by building and equipping Chief Executive Officers [CEOs] with modern management skills and practices through seminars, workshops, conferences and other interactive forum. * Each member of the institute would be expected to belong to one of the four business groups of the institute.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS To become a member you must be one of the following;CEO, GM/MD,Business owner.
You must be willing to;- Help and mentor other group members.- Open to advice, ideas and correction.
INDUCTION COURSESAll intending full members and inner court members of the institute are required to attend the mandatory institute's membership Induction course. The course provides an overview of key elements of corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, strategic finance, innovation and entrepreneurship, and corporate strategy. The induction course is handled by a team of experts assembled by the institute to take intending members to a new level of performance.
CERTIFICATIONThe qualification of Certified Chief Executive [CCE] is available for those members who have completed the 3 modules of the program administered by the institute. Each module takes an average of one week to complete. The 3 modules are completed in 6 months.
Membership of the CEO INSTITUTE is open to Chief Executive Officers [CEOs] & Chief Operating Officers [COOs] of public and private enterprises/institutions and entrepreneurs of legally recognized businesses or entities whose annual turnover is in excess of one million dollars.

The secretariat is responsible for the
day administration of the institute.
It is headed by the Vice chairman/CEO.

On receiving the filled applica�on form, the Ins�tute will review it
and take a decision concerning your qualifica�on to become a
member of the ins�tute. The ins�tute's decision will be
communicated to you within a week of receiving the form.
If you are deemed qualified, you will be required to make all
necessary payments and to a�end the induc�on course for new
members of the ins�tute.

GOVERNANCE & STRUCTUREGOVERNING COUNCIL
The governing council is the highest
decision making body of the institute.
It is responsible for the formulation of
the policies of the institute. It consists
of the following:
- The Chairman - The Vice chairman/CEO
- Secretary to council/Registrar
- Other 5 - 9 members
INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The International Advisory Committee is
responsible for advising the institute on key
aspect of international and national policies
and issues affecting the operations of the institute.
It consists of the Chairman and 14 other members
drawn from the international community.
