Following our critically acclaimed production of A Doll’s House, SpaceWorks continues its work reinterpreting old classics with a contemporary re- imagining of Bertolt Brecht’s masterpiece, The Caucasian Chalk Circle. ANYONE living in E14 receives 50% off their ticket price - just £3 for young members and £5 for adults. We want to pack out the first week of the show, so on Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th March all Cadets & SYD members can have FREE tickets. Two years ago this culminated in the launch of SpaceWorks, our in-house theatre community (see below). Now, we need your help. In the face of funding cuts, we need to raise money from other sources to support the work that we do. We’re reaching out to our friends and followers to ask you to set-up a standing order or make a donation. Whilst finding funding for the arts is getting tougher and tougher, we won’t stop working hard to make sure that local people have access to creative opportunities and would be eternally grateful for your support. The Caucasian Chalk Circle OPENING NIGHT: This Tuesday! Panic, chaos, mayhem… welcome to the chalk circle.

SYD workshop 6:30-8:30 next weekAmended workshop start time on Monday 21st March

The SYD workshop will be starting at 6:30pm on Monday 21st March to allow for the Cadets’ showcase. The final session of term will be Monday 28th, and then we start back up again on Monday 9th May. There will be no activities over the Easter break

There are plenty of adults but few SYD members coming to our theatre trip on Thursday 31st. Don’t miss this opportunity - get in touch with Alex

NO WORKSHOP next Monday 21st March

Due to the Cadets showcase and the SYD’s delayed start time, there will be no workspace session on Monday 21st - but don’t let that stop you from seeing the Cadets perform their musical showcase!

There will be an extended term for Workspace, finishing on Monday 18th April and starting up again on 9th May. We have booked the space for a two-night performance run on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th May so please put these dates in your diary and let Danielle know if you can’t perform for whatever reason.

After weeks of intensive singing and dancing rehearsals, the Cadets will be ready to show you their work next week. Expect treats of Bollywood, Disney & zombied flavours

NEXT MONDAY CAN ALL CADETS PLEASE BRING DARK LEGGINGS OR TROUSERSWe will have your tops and music ready at the Space for the show

The Cadets will start up again on 9th May - please see our website for all new datesOur theatre trip has also been booked, an email confirmation and further details will be sent out later this week.
