Dear Friends, As families begin to gather for the Celebration of Christmas, I want to welcome all who have “come home for the holidays” and especially those friends and family who are here to worship with us at Saint Louis de France. Know that when you are here...you ARE home! Here in the bulletin Wendy has listed all the names of those who are memorialized by the donation of flowers for our altars: know that your loved ones have a special place in my Masses here at the altar on Christmas. There are so many people to thank at Christmas: we have a great staff here at the Parish who enable the day-to-day life of the Parish to function smoothly. Know that the collection on Christmas Day assists any expenses incurred by Christmas, and helps give our Staff a well-deserved “tip” at Christmas as we show our gratitude to them. Heidi Dion and Sue Higgins along with the Choir have been preparing the music to embellish our Christmas Liturgies: we have fine music here, in season and out of season...thanks to our Parish Musicians for all they do! Our Parish St. Vincent de Paul Society has been busily working behind the scenes to see to it that all those in the area who need a hand at Christmas are provided for...but...they couldn’t do it without the hands and hearts of you the people of St. Louis de France who have been so generous in supporting the GIVING TREE project. May God reward your generosity at Christmas. CATHOLIC FINANCIAL LIFE presented the Parish with a check for $1,130.00 representing the proceeds from the TURKEY RAFFLE. The group are hard workers for the life of our Parish...thanks to CFL for all they do! You will notice at the entry ways of the church 2019 CATHOLIC HOME CALENARS courtesy of Mr Bill Hathaway and our friends at the Hathaway Funeral Home. Once again, Bill, thank you for your support of the Parish and for all your kindnesses throughout the year! All that being said...let us not forget to pray for one another at the altar and at the Manger Scene. Let us ask God to truly be born-again in the mangers of our heart. EPIPHANY SUNDAY - FAMILY MASS Our next parish Family Mass will be cele-brated on Epiphany Sunday, January 6th at the 9.30am Mass. Children of the Par-ish will perform the Christmas Story and refreshments will be offered in the lower church after Mass. Plan to join us!
