Pacific Grove: Grove Acre resident reported an unknownsubject was able to obtain his bank information and make a wiretransfer to an unknown place.
Carmel Valley: Angry customer on Carmel Valley Roadattempted to run over one of a company’s service techni-cians.
Pacific Grove: Female reported someone put tape on thewindows of an Asilomar Boulevard building in the shape of apeace sign in August or September. Instead of calling PGPD fora report, they cleaned up the tape. She said the suspects came inthrough an unlocked door. She wanted to make sure PGPD knewthis, so the area could be patrolled. She also mentioned thatsecurity has chased people off the property but never reported itto PGPD.
Pacific Grove: Transient suspect was found sleeping near apreschool building on 14th Street and was ordered to leave.Subject also admonished about future trespassing.
Carmel Valley: Woman reported her downstairs neighborsare possibly cooking methamphetamine.
Carmel Valley: Man said an unidentified male called hisplace of business on Carmel Valley Road and impersonated him-
self as a health inspector with Monterey County.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 5
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Victim on Lobos reported an unknownsuspect smashed the left window to her vehicle and took herpurse. There is no suspect information at this time.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Citizen on Dolores Street reportedreceiving an annoying phone call on his cell phone from anunknown male caller.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fire engine dispatched to a residenceon Carpenter between Fifth and Sixth for a smoke detector need-ing a new battery. Arrived on scene and installed a new batteryin a smoke detector which was chirping, indicating the currentbattery was bad.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fire engine and ambulance dispatchedto a residence at Lincoln and Seventh for a fire. Arrived on sceneto find a boiler motor which had burned, putting out an odorwhich was detected in Unit 5. This is what prompted the call to911. Cypress Fire was asked to cover the city, and Carmel ValleyFire staged at Lincoln and Eighth. Firefighters conducted pri-mary and secondary searches for possible extension and otherfire problems. The power to the boiler was shut off and con-firmed by a representative of the complex. There had been elec-trical-issue concerns by tenants about two weeks earlier.Maintenance person was contacted and was to tend to repairs thefollowing day.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fire engine and ambulance dispatchedto Junipero and First to assist police. Arrived on scene to find a66-year-old male intoxicated and in custody of police. Heappeared to have consumed at least one-fifth of vodka and wasnot able to function normally or care for himself. He was trans-ported for medical monitoring and possible further evaluation

Pacific Grove: Report of a female occupying a home onLobos Avenue that was previously sold. Owners do not wish topursue criminal charges but want the female to leave.
Pacific Grove: Person reported a TV was taken from a con-ference room in a hotel on Lighthouse Avenue.
Pacific Grove: Grove Acre resident reported the daughter’sbicycle was taken from the carport.
Pacific Grove: Coyote sighting on Sinex Avenue.Carmel Valley: Unknown suspect took a wallet from a home
on Carmel Valley Road.Carmel area: Victim reported an unknown suspect went into
her unlocked vehicle on Grey Goose Gulch and stole her purse.

north of Seventh for a water leak. A yard irrigation system failedto shut off. System shut off and responsible notified.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Ambulance dispatched to Alta Avenuefor a female with chest pain. Patient transported Code 2 toCHOMP.
Pacific Grove: Anonymous report of barking dogs at a WoodStreet residence. There have been multiple responses to this res-idence for similar issues.
Pacific Grove: Report of a possible theft from a store onCountry Club Gate. Person was uncertain if the subject paid forthe items or not. The person confronted the subject and asked fora receipt. Suspect gave the person a receipt, but the person didnot verify if the items on the receipt were in the suspect’s pos-session.
Pacific Grove: Observed a motorcycle parked in BerwickPark and contacted a 33-year-old male suspect who matched thedescription of a DUI BOL and was in a sleeping bag about 30

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Juvenile driver, age16, was observed stopped in the roadway on thewrong side of the road on Lower Trail. The dri-ver was found to be under the influence of con-trolled substances and arrested. He was alsofound in possession of marijuana and marijua-na paraphernalia. He was later released on cita-tion to his father.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Observed a loose dogin the business area and contacted the dogowner. The dog owner was admonished.

Pacific Grove: Female who said she is areal estate agent was showing a residence on17th Street and reported an unknown malewalked in and began to yell that he was goingto sue PGPD for $5 million. He told her hewants to buy the house after he wins his settle-ment. She backed away from the man and wasable to get him to leave without incident. Hedid not threaten her, but he did make her ner-vous.
Pacific Grove: Fire engine and ambulanceresponded to an injured person who slipped onthe rocks at the beach and broke his ankle.Subject stated he was taking photographs onSunset Drive, and while turning around, heslipped. Subject was transported to CHOMP.
Pacific Grove: Person came to PGPD tofile a possible elder-abuse report. The personwanted officers to conduct a welfare check.
Carmel area: Sometime between Aug. 5and the start of the school year, an unknownsuspect stole a computer from a classroom atCarmel High School.

“Toys for Tots is a wonderful highlightof the holiday season,” said Rita Lewis,vice president and managing broker ofCBDMR. “Each year our agents and staffspend weeks collecting toy donationsfrom their clients, knowing they will bring
smiles to the faces of needy children. At atime when so many in our communitiesare struggling, it is a gift to be able tobring such happiness to those who aregoing without this holiday season.”
Members of the Marine CorpsReserve will pick up the toys from eachColdwell Banker Del Monte Realty col-lection center and deliver them to charita-ble organizations and social welfare agen-cies in the area just in time for the holi-days.
