National Able Network - Office Manager- Chicago Heights Position Overview: Reporting to Site

Director, this position provides administrative supports to WIA management staff and service delivery

personnel, supervises SCSEP workers and volunteers, coordinates with IDES, and performs reception

duties as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures office runs smoothly and provides outstanding customer service.

Prepares and collects program eligibility documents.

Supervises all SCSEP Title V workers assigned to Chicago Heights Workforce Center. Setup

Tracks staff attendance and scheduled time off.

Prepares reports for management as required.

Orders supplies as needed; maintains accurate inventory. Transmits all purchase receipts, etc. to

fiscal department.

Fills in for Front Desk and Resource Center personnel, if necessary.

Greets clients/visitors, answering questions and provides general information.

Records meeting minutes as required.

Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum of 2 years work experience in an administrative function ideally in a social services

environment. Prior experience in a data collection/reporting function highly desirable.

Excellent communication oral, written and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a

variety of individuals.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, Word and the Internet.

Outstanding organizational abilities with consistent, reliable follow-through to achieve deadlines.
