Campbell Family Reunions
• Reunions were remembered for years
• The younger ones enjoyed hearing stories about far off places their families had visited
• Locations include California, Texas, Oklahoma, Montana and Alabama
1956 Love of family • A trip to
Hollywood, CA allowed the Campbell family to enjoy one another’s company
• Anna Lou, Ida, Ollie, Bessie, Bill and Milford vacationed together in 1956
• This is the corner of Hollywood and Vine
• The family had gone to visit Aunt Sallie, Ollie, Anna Lou and Milford
• The travelers came home via the Grand Canyon and New Mexico
• Bill loved to tell about their trip and laugh • The relatives traveled in Bill’s new 1956
Oldsmobile with a 460 air conditioner • Translated that meant 4 windows down at 60
miles per hour
• Our relatives in their hats must have made an impression on all the locals
• Bessie and Ida are pictured
• Unique experiences were found on the ghost town express
• Ida Smith is looking through the telescope

Mildred, Grandma Nellie Both Grandma’s instilled the love of family
history into their descendents Aunt Ollie Mae typed many of the family doucuments
Surprises happen at reunions

• These guys are in Texas and ready for a wedding in Jep’s family
• If these men can share with the younger generation the enjoyment of family…We all will have done well!

Montana was the destination of many reunions
• Jim and Robert along with Roger Kaye the last winter of Robert’s life
Reunions to Alabama were numerous Visiting kept family bonds strong….
