The Byzantine EmpireFounded by Constantine in 324 on the ancient Greek city of Byzantium.
When Theodosius I died in 395 he split the Roman Empire between his two sons:Arcadius would rule the East and Honorius would rule the West.
Western Rome would fall in 476. Eastern Rome would last until 1453.
