From the Desk of...Augie Agostini
The September 22nd trip to the Pines Dinner Theater to see the “Honky Tonk Angels”, a comedy skit along with 30 country tunes, has available seats and payment is due at the August meeting. The next two day-trips are to the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse and the Stony Hill Inn. Both of these shows are very popular if you haven’t signed up you might not be able to attend. However, don’t hesitate to put your name on the wait list as we always have some cancellations. Our June trip to Branford, Connecticut for our boat tour of Thimble Island went well. It seems everyone I talked with enjoyed the boat ride and the food at the USS Chowder Pot III was great. Your executive committee will look into a possible boat ride next year depending on what is being offered.
