Imagine the thrill of being aboard the largest Princess Cruises ship ever to visit Australia as she enters Sydney heads for her maiden arrival in the harbour city! This rare and exciting opportunity is a fitting finale to our latest heritage rail and sail tour. And you could be just one of 80 lucky people to be part of it! Our journey begins in Sydney with a relaxing 2-day rail adventure aboard a privately chartered, 621/721 Rail Motor from Sydney’s Central Station. Built in Sydney in 1962 to service the Hunter Region of NSW this charming little train has windows that open, allowing you to better take in views of the countryside as you travel north towards Queensland.

After crossing the Hawkesbury River, a stop at the Rail Motor Society’s home in Paterson for morning tea^is next on the agenda. You’ll have time to visit the other rail motors in the collection including the CPH ‘Tin Hare’ and 400 class ‘HPC’ rail motors. Continuing north through ever changing countryside enjoy a stop at Taree for lunch, with plenty of time to stretch your legs.

Tonight we will stop in Grafton where you’ll transfer to your motel, then stroll to the nearby Crown Hotel for dinner, right on the banks of the Clarence River. After a good night’s rest, you’ll rejoin the 621/721 Rail Motor and head for Casino for morning tea before continuing through the spectacular Cougal Spiral - better known as Border Loop. This

unusual rail formation loops up and over itself then through the Border Ranges into Queensland.

Early afternoon you’ll arrive at Brisbane’s Roma Street Station, bringing an end to your heritage rail journey. Tonight you’ll stay in the heart of the CBD, across the road from the Botanical Gardens. In Brisbane you will have a full day at leisure to explore as you wish - the Queen Street Mall is a few blocks away. This evening take a short walk to board the Kookaburra Queen for a river cruise including dinner and drinks.

The next morning, you’ll transfer to the port to embark the Majestic Princess for a 2-night cruise back to Sydney. Laze on deck, catch glimpses of the coastline or explore this incredible ship. On this unique and exclusive 6-night get-away you’ll be hosted by Cruise Express the whole way. All that is left is for you to enjoy this exclusive, unique adventure, make new friends and have fun.
