Santa came visiting on his Reindeer drawn sleigh to greet the children.

• The Brigade School @ J P Nagar was declared as one of the Top 20 CBSE Schools in Bengaluru by the Brainfeed School Excellence Awards.

• Shreya Subramanian and Apoorva M K of Grade 10 were adjudged the Best All Girls Team at the Texas Instruments Science and Technology Quiz.

• ‘Good Governance’ an essay by Vijay Ganesan of Grade 8 was selected at the National Level by the CBSE.

The diversity of “Colours of India” was portrayed with children wearing colourful traditional costumes of the different states.

The tiny tots of The Brigade School @ Mahadevapura had their Mind Space Activity Day on 30th January 2015. Children showcased activities based on the curriculum learnt through the year in phonics, Montessori math and composite science. The children presented concepts as diverse as invertebrates to isthmus (in Composite Science), addition of 4 digit numbers and money/exchange (Montessori Math) and reading a newspaper headline (as part of the Phonics programme) with consummate ease. Keerthi Krishna of Class 2, studying at The Brigade School @ Malleswaram won an award and a certificate for his outstanding performance -Best Bowling in a cricket match conducted by ‘Brijesh Patel Cricket Academy’ from December 24 to December 30, 2014.

Tanvi Rathi of Class 2 B, studying at The Brigade School @ Malleswaramhad had participated in the International Championship of Spelling Bee 2013-2014 conducted by the MaRRS International Spelling Bee organisation on 7th and 8th F e b r u a r y , 2015 a t T h e O s m a n i a University, Hyderabad. She was one of the qualifiers to the International level.

“Forewarned is forearmed”. In keeping with the adage, a mock fire drill was conducted on 27th January. The drill has equipped them with specialised knowledge on the use of fire extinguishers and the immediate precautions to be taken when a fire breaks out.
