CREDITS

EXT. - 7 KINGS PARK PATHWAY

FAITH, aged 20, is a brunette young woman with blue eyes.She enters the park from left and walks down the pathwith a notebook and pen in her hand, whilst watching hersurroundings. She sees a bench with a young man(LUKE,AGED 21) sat on, who also has dark hair and blue eyes. Heis reading a book. FAITH stops there to rest her bagdown, and to get something out of her bag. An item ofhers then drops and he makes her aware of the droppedobject by picking it up for her, he then smirks andcontinues reading. She looks up at him and thanks him,

before noticing him reading an interesting book. Shemakes an enthusiastic comment about the book with a smileon her face. He looks up and smiles back, noticing herproperly for the first time, he then smiles again as helikes what he sees. LUKE points his hand out to offerFAITH a seat beside him on the bench. She sits down andthey both begin to talk and laugh. He asks for thenotebook by extending his hand, which she accepts andpasses it over, and he then writes down his number.

Voiceover

fulfilled life?

CUT TO

INT. COSTA COFFEE

At coffee FAITH arrives and he has a gift for her; a

book. She loves it and gives him a cuddle to show herappreciation.

FAITHLust drove me to love

I thought love would balance meDefeat my insecurities

EXT. 7 KINGS PARK

FAITH and LUKE are on a romantic walk, side by side and

talk about things in common. They stare into each otherseyes.

FAITHIn the beginning it wasnt really anything he said or

did, it was the feeling that came along with it.Crazy thing is I dont know if Im ever going to feel

that way again, but maybe I shouldn t...

CUT TO

EXT. OUTSIDE FAITHS HOUSE

They share a first kiss

EXT. HYDE PARK

At a picnic they laugh. FAITH reads him a story from abook as he smiles at her in owe.

INT. THEIR LIVING ROOM SOFA

FAITH and LUKE cuddle on the sofa with takeaway on thecoffee table and a movie on TV.

FAITHI Suppose you may think Im in hell, buried under thedeluded decisions to forgive him, but understand that

there were also moments of love and laughterI am not what youve heard and seen before

But instead an example of the vision you impairI am more than my own reflection, a tainted shadow or

FAITH is smiling as she is writing in her notebook.

INT. LIVING ROOM

She comes back home and enters the door in her work

clothing with good news. She jumps up and down withexcitement as she sees Luke appear from the living room.

EXT. IN THE LONDON EYE

LUKE surprises FAITH with a necklace. Written on the boxis To the best writer and poet. Congratulations on your promotion baby . She looks delighted and gives him akiss. They then look out at the view holding hands.

CUT TO

INT. THEIR LIVING ROOM

FAITH is on her sofa typing chapter one on her computerwith grin on face. LUKE kisses her goodnight on herforehead and goes upstairs.

My pulse is a tension strained by emotions,A dependency that creates the rate, the pulsing speed of

CUT TOFAITH tries on new work clothing in front of LUKE, heapproves with a thumbs up in which she grabs her bag andleaves for work. He then goes in the cupboard and has ashot of Vodka.

EXT. LEISTER SQUARE THE VUE

FAITH is walking with Luke as they exit the cinema. Shegets a message on her phone and takes it out to look.LUKE behaves jealously, peering over her shoulder and

scanning through as she replies. FAITH shrugs it off bygiving him a reassuring kiss.

CUT TO

INT. THEIR BATHROOM

FAITH opens the bathroom door and shows LUKE a positivepregnancy test. LUKE has his arms crossed and smiles veryfaintly.

CUT TO

INT.- THEIR BEDROOM

They both lie on their bed. FAITH is snuggled up next toLUKE with a grin, she places her hand on her belly andsmiles.

FAITHYou never know whats coming round the corner until

youve seen it, and its seen you Is it something deeper?

CUT TO

INT. THEIR BEDROOM

FAITH wakes up with a pain in her stomach and turns forLUKES comfort but LUKE is not in bed. The clock shows5:47am.

CUT TO

EXT. - STREET

FAITH and LUKE are arguing on the street. He grabs herarm and tells her to walk on in silence. FAITH turns toapologise, he reluctantly allows her to give him a hug.

FAITHDependency? What am I fighting for?

Nourishment? I need love but it isnt easy Defeated, I guess love made me needy

He told me he needs me, but my wounds are the only proofof affection

My makeup shelters the scattered truths of love

My conscience, a diary

CUT TO

INT. THEIR DINING ROOM

LUKE comes home with a small cardboard box with someoffice objects inside. He loosens his tie in stress anddrinks some more Vodka. FAITH shakes her head and walksout of the room.

CUT TO

INT.- THEIR BEDROOM

FAITH enters their bedroom with a look of anger across

her face. She sees LUKE still asleep in bed. She looks atthe alarm that shows 14:18pm. FAITH nods her head andshouts something at him, before placing her firstpregnancy scan beside his bed stand. When FAITH leavesthe room, LUKE slowly lifts his head out of his pillow,acknowledges the photo and drops his head back tocontinue sleeping.

CUT TO

INT.- THEIR LIVING ROOM

FAITH and LUKE are watching a program, and she kisses hischeek to improve the mood. LUKE keeps his eyes on the TV,slightly moving his face away from her. FAITH tries tocomfort him by stroking his thigh, but doesnt notice thecup of tea in his hand. She knocks it with her hand andthe tea spills onto his lap. LUKE closes his eyes in acheeky manner and begins to smile. FAITH begins to laughand apologise. Before she can get up to grab a cloth,LUKEs smile fades, and he whacks her across the face

with his back hand. FAITH stands in shock with her handacross her cheek. LUKE apologises but FAITH walks out.

CUT TO

INT.- THEIR DINING ROOM

FAITH writes in her notebook. She appears to be sad, witha bruise on her check.

INT.- THEIR BATHROOM

FAITH covers the bruise with makeup before she leaves for

work. LUKE is asleep in bed. She looks at him in disgustbefore walking out.

CUT TO

INT.- LIVING ROOM

FAITH has a pain in her belly and grabs her stomach.

CUT TO

INT.- DOCTORS ROOM

The Dr informs FAITH with some bad news. FAITH does notrespond.

FAITHCan my soul be restored, revived?

I think when its all over it just comes back in flashesyou know, its like a collide scope of memories, and it

just all comes back...Who am I, if we are not a shared identity?

CUT TO

INT. LIVING ROOM

FAITH returns home and breaks down, crying in front ofLUKE before giving him some bad news. He consoles her onthe floor by rubbing her back. They then cuddle insilence. FAITH is holding the pregnancy scan tightly inher hand.

CUT TO

INT.- DINING ROOM TABLE

FAITH is at her home desk with her notebook and pen, butdoesnt write anything down.

INT.- KITCHEN

FAITH and LUKE have an argument that becomes heated, and

FAITH shoves him in anger. He then furiously grabs abook from the counter and throws it at her. She dodgesthe book. He then approaches her quickly with his handsin a fist and punches her so she falls to the ground. Hepins her down with his legs on either side of her andbegins to strangle her. FAITH fights for air, but justbefore she stops breathing

CUT TO*rewind of sequence until the first fragment where they

first meet*

FAITHBut what if you could go back to that moment, right tothe beginning where your life was about to change, and

erase everything youve ever loved, every memory you evermade because of that moment, that one person, your whole

world. What if you could change the story in a splitsecond decision?...would you?

EXT. 7 KINGS PARK BENCH

CUT TOLUKE points his hand out to offer FAITH a seat beside himon the bench.
