ALWAYS BE YOUR BEST!

When you think it doesn’t matter

if you fail or pass the test,

Keep in mind the reason why

you should always be your best.

LAW OF THE GARBAGE TRUCK

How often to you let other people’s nonsense

change your mood???

Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or

an insensitive employee ruin your day?

However, the mark of a successful person is how

quickly one can get back their focus on what’s im-

portant.

David J Pollay explains his story in this way…

Sixteen years ago, I learned this lesson. I learned it

in the back of a New York City taxi cab. Here’s

what happened. I hopped in a taxi, and we took off

for Grand Central Station. We were driving in the

right lane when, all of a sudden, a black car jumped

out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi

driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed

the other car’s back end by just inches! The driver

and waved at the guy. And I mean…..he was

friendly. So I said, ―Why did you just do that? This

guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospi-

tal!‖

While the whole world may not notice

if you tried to give your all,

There is a person in you

to whom it matters if you fall.

That little voice inside you

which directs your thoughts each day,

Will make the final judgment

if you won or lost each day.

Never can you fail yourself

if you give it all you’ve got,

The world extends a hand to you

when you give life your best shot.

For all that really matters

when you’re finished with your test,

Is not the final score at all-

But did you do your best?

ENJOY

THE COFFEE

A group of Alumni, highly established in their careers,

got together to visit their old University lecturer. Con-

versation soon turned into complaints about stress in

work and life. Offering his guests coffee, the lecturer

went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of

coffee and an assortment of cups: porcelain, plastic,

glass, some plain-looking and some expensive and exqui-

site, telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the

lecturer said: ―If you noticed, all the nice-looking expen-

sive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and

cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only

the best for yourselves, that is the source of your prob-

lems and stress. What all of you really wanted was cof-

fee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the bet-

ter cups and are eyeing each other’s cups!‖

―Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and posi-

tion in Society are the cups. They are just tools to hold

and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn’t

change.‖

―Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we

fail to enjoy the coffee in it.‖

So folks, don’t let the cups drive you……enjoy the cof-

Our Cell phone who art in everyone’s pocket,

Hallowed be thy balance,

Thy recharge be done

On credit, if not in cash.

Give us this day our daily top-up

And forgive us our missed calls,

As we forgive those who give us missed calls.

Bring us not into zero balance,

But deliver all our messages.

For thine is the tower,

For Ever & Ever.

Bill Gates– Rules

RULE 1 Life is not fair - get used to it. RULE 2 The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good

RULE 3 You will NOT make $ 60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice president with car phone, until you earn both. RULE 4 If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.

RULE 5 Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your grandpar-ents had a different word for burger flipping they called it Opportunity. RULE 6 If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them. RULE 7 Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you are. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room. RULE 8 Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life has not. In some schools they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as many times as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life. RULE 9 Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you find yourself. Do that on your own time. RULE 10 Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs. RULE 11 Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for
