13

ATTENTION TO DETAILA NATIONAL RETAILER’S LIGHTING DESIGN did not address code light density limitations. By using photometrics and fixture specifications, our engineers updated the client’s conceptual lighting design to provide higher levels of usable light and meet energy code requirements for a reduced cost.

SOLVING PROBLEMSTO RESOLVE A CONFLICT BETWEEN A RETAILER AND A LANDLORD, TES Engineering investigated the cause of streaked ceilings at the client’s stores. We determined the cause was product off-gasing, not dirty air coming from the landlord’s central plant, as originally thought. Mattress Firm implemented a corporate-wide decision to pain the ceilings black at all stores, improving aesthetics.

EMBRACING CHANGEWHILE WORKING ON JCPENNEY’S REBRANDING INITIATIVE, TES Engineering achieved success by closely working with project design teams to coordinate a huge number of fast-paced, large-scope projects.

SEEING THE UNSEENTO ADDRESS A COMFORT COMPLAINT FROM A CLIENT, TES Engineering conducted a study that revealed the cause of the problem was 75% of return air openings being eliminated during a previous remodel. Our engineers helped resolve the complaint by reinstalling the return grilles - spending no money to replace or add equipment.
