Course Description: Day 1: "Things That Go Bump In The Mouth"

A review of the most common, and significant, exophytic lesions in the oral cavity. Numerous lumps, bumps and warty appearing lesions can have similar appearances and a thorough review with many clinical photos will be presented. This will include clinical presentation, treatment recommendations and follow up care.

Day 2: "The A to Z's of Oral Ulceration"

A review of the most frequently encountered and most significant types of oral ulcers. This will include a discussion of a broad spectrum of lesions from autoimmune diseases to infectious processes to neoplastic lesions and more.

Kitrina G. Cordell, DDS, MS Dr. Cordell is an associate professor in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry. She received her BS cum laude, a DDS, and an MS in oral and maxillofacial pathology from Ohio State University. For the past eight years, she has been on the faculty of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry at Ann Arbor, where she was director of the Oral Pathology Biopsy Service. Dr. Cordell is a fellow of the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology and a diplomat of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology.
