COVENANT

CREATION

DISCIPLINE

DIVORCE

So they are no longertwo but one flesh. What therefore God has joinedtogether, let not man separate.” They said to him,“Why then did Moses command one to give a cer-tificate of divorce and to send her away?” He said tothem, “Because of your hardness of heart Mosesallowed you to divorce your wives, but from thebeginning it was not so. And I say to you: whoeverdivorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, andmarries another, commits adultery.”
