• Assist church or pastor in territorial mapping
• Give leadership to a systematic visitation program for the local church
• Identify and prepare baptismal candidates through Bible studies or lesson enrollments

• Assist the pastor/evangelist in training visitation teams

• Have clear purpose for daily visitation:– Friendship– Conversion to Christ– Obedience to Christ– Baptism into Christ

• Pre-qualify your prospect before daily visitation
• Provide the evangelist with feedback from your daily visits.
• Give adequate attention to personal devotion-primary source of spiritual authority
• Attend the campaign nightly

• Gain progressive decisions during the campaign
• Guide your prospects to the prayer room to increase receptivity to the message
• Contact your prospect at least seven times before baptism.
• Anticipate objections/excuses and clarify them in the light of the Scripture

• Work with the local leadership to settle new members into a congregation
• Follow-up prospects still on the verge of a decision
• Work with the pastor to keep in contact with new converts once a week

• Arrange with the pastor for nurturing, fellowship, assimilation and witnessing activities for new converts.
• Keep in contact with new converts for at least one year
• Foster a mentorship system to facilitate the socialization of new converts
