    Thank you for purchasing this eBook, this book is full of helpful tips, for your

    cheap shopping trips. As a new couponer it can be challenging to find helpful

    information and then directly after that start saving money. Saving money is an art

    form you need to have a strategy in place in order to do it correctly. The tips I haveprovided will allow you to bypass the fluff and get to the stuff. There are no long

    paragraphs to sift through, just point blank tips that you can start using now, so

    what are you waiting for lets start SAVING!

    Tip#1- Start off with 10 items or less when you are planning your firstshopping trip.

    Tip#2- Call and see if youre local Family Dollar, Freds or Dollar Generaltakes coupons if these stores are in your area.

    Tip#3- Find coupons in the Sunday paper, stores, online ex: (coupons.com),eBay and in the All You Mag. (Hint- its cheaper to purchase the mag atWal-Mart).

    Tip#4- Buy items and use coupons only when that item is at its lowest price.

    Tip#5- Try to obtain multiple copies of the Sunday paper, by purchasingfrom your local store or by subscribing. Buy 2 at the least and 10 at themost.

    Tip#6- There are discount paper subscriptions online. Look up (discountnewspaper subscriptions) in your favorite search engine and search for yourpaper.

    Tips#7- If you live in a small area try to get the newspaper in the biggest cityclosest to you.

    Tip#8- Order the Sunday only subscription of the newspaper (if possible).

    Tip#9- Start off by shopping with your coupons at one store. Choose a storethat doubles coupons or a store that lets you use store coupons andmanufacturer coupons on an item at the same time. Ex: Target or Publix.

    Tips#10- Always carry your store policies with you!

    Tip#11- Some dollar stores carry the paper.

    Tip#12- Use peelies only when youre going to buy the product. Peelies arecoupons that are attached to the actual product.

    Tip#13- Couponing means stock up on items when they are at their lowestprice.

    Tip#14- Coupon doubling means a $0.50 coupon is worth twice its valuewhich is $1. Not all stores double, check with you local store.

    Tip#15- Dont ever clear the shelves when shopping.

    Tip#16- Couponers are always worth more than a cash buyer, because thestore receives the coupon value back plus $0.08!

    Tip#17- How to recognize a manufacturers coupon, it usually starts with a#5 or #9 a coupon starting with a #5 can double a coupon that starts with a#9 wont double.

    Tip#18- How to recognize a store coupon, store coupons have no bar codes.Codes that start with any other numbers besides 5 or 9 are store coupons.

    Tip#19- Use rain checks if you have to. Rain checks need to be used if thestore runs out of a certain product you need at a certain price.

    Tip#20- Dont clip your coupons save your inserts until you are ready to usethem. Always write the dates on them so you can find them quickly.

    Tip#21- Purchase a file box for your inserts.

    Tip#22- Some stores take their competitors coupons ex: Publix.

    Tip#23- Coupon match-ups are when you match a coupon up with the sameitem that the coupon is for.

    Tip#24- On a 10 for $10.00 special you dont have to purchase 10 items toget the special, you can purchase one if you want and its still a buck a piece.

    Tip#25- Make a price book for your favorite items.

    Tip#26- Buy a smaller version of a product you need, because this will allowyou to save the most.

    Tip#27- Always watch the cashier and double check your receipt.

    Tip#28- Always know how much of a product you use, dont buy 20 boxesof rice if your family doesnt eat it that often.

    Tip#29- Donate unused items before they expire.

    Tip#30- Legitimate coupons have 2 linear bar codes at the bottom of thecoupon, a usage policy, expiration date, redemption info, and a single 2Dbarcode at the top right of the coupon.

    Tip#31- Only two internet coupons will print per computer.

    Tip#32- Print coupons in color.

    Tip#33- Print the whole page with the coupon, so you wont have any issuesat the store.

    Tip#34- It is illegal to photo copy a coupon!

    Tip#35- Dumpster divers cant be charged with theft.

    Tip#36- If you want to dumpster dive locate a paper dumpster near you, go

    to paperretriever.com.

    Tip#37- Dumpsters that are viewable to the public always have morecoupons.

    Tip#38- Always bring a box and stool when you are going to dumpster dive.

    Tip#39- Have patience and dont use every coupon on every single deal.

    Tip#40- Hang on to every coupon you can, sales leave and return.

    Tips#41- Only print the printable coupons that you need, dont print everycoupon just because its there.

    Tip#42- It takes about 6 months to build a stockpile. Stockpiles are itemsthat you have purchased with coupons that you store for later use.

    Tip#43- Catalinas cant be combined they can only be used alone.Catalinas are the coupons that print from the register.

    Tip#44- Dont ignore rebates they can help you save money.

    Tip#45- Know your stock up prices. Find a general stock up price list online.

    Tip#46- Make your own table of contents for your coupon binder.

    Tip#47- Publix special notes- you can use a manufacturer coupon, a storecoupon and one of their competitors coupons on the same item.

    Tip#48- You can buy one item on buy one get one free.

    Tip#49- You can use two coupons on a buy one get one free deal.

    Tip#50- Separate your coupons before you go to the store.

    Tip#51- No rain check on clearance items.

    Tip#52- Tell the cashier ahead of time about coupons you are using with

    your rain check. (This is allowed at some stores).

    Tip#53- Some stores have an expiration date on rain checks.

    Tip#54- You cant use two buy one get one free manufacturer coupons on abogo deal to get both items free.

    Tip#55- Shop on the first day of the sale.

    Tip#56- Buy meat with the money you save, ask butcher to break down themeat if needed in order to get the best savings.

    Tip#57- Inserts dont come in the paper during the holidays.

    Tip#58- Stores that dont print out coupons from the register are Wal-Mart,CVS, and Rite Aid.

    Tip#59- Put paper or small cardboard squares between your baseball card

    slots so you can use both sides. Use this tip for your coupon binder.

    Tip#60- Coupon binders-you will need a binder, baseball card slots and tabsto separate your categories. Make sure you make a table of contents.

    Tip#61- Keep track of your savings on a spreadsheet.

    Tips#62- Save your old receipts and file them in order to keep up with yoursavings.

    Tip#63- Make a stockpile worksheet.

    Tip#64- Take your time and do your coupon match-ups it does get easierwith practice.

    1. Get your weekly ad and go through it and circle the sales.2. Locate a coupon database online ex: couponmom.com and locate coupons to

    go with your sales ad deals that you selected.3. Gather all of your coupons together.4. Subtract the amounts of the coupons from the prices in the ad.5. There you have it your own coupon match-up.
