Attention, fans of cos-play, it’s time to brush off your best costume and get excited about Clash, a live action cos-play show and competition. The event will be held at Nusa Indah Hall, Balai Kartini on the 24th of July, and will feature a long list of famous cos-play models, including Kaname, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Naoki Drachen, Orochi X, Pinky Lu Xun and Mark Musashias, who will all appear in their prize-winning costumes to judge contestants. The event will also feature J-pop/rock duo Hangry & Angry live on stage. This unprecedented event is the brainchild of Ennichisai Committee and 3R Production. For more information on the event, please visit www.clashcosplay.com.

CLASH

Sadly, Bandung-based band Mocca, known for their fresh indie-inspired English songs, are going on hiatus. Don’t fret too much, as the band plans to say farewell with a bang. On the 15th of July, Mocca, along with their many close indie-band friends, including Naif, Sore, White Shoes, The Couples Company and Endah N Rhesa will take to the stage at Nusa Indah Theater, Balai Kartini, for the band’s final show. Members Arina, Indra, Rico and Toma say they’ll be taking a break for an unknown length of time to focus on different projects. Don’t miss this concert, which might be the last time that we ever see the band perform live!

Mocca’s Last Show

Elbow Room has changed their weekly schedule around, with several new regular events for the month of July. Every Wednesday, the venue invites all wannabe singers and karaoke fanatics to their open-mic night, in a change from their usual RnB event. Those who want to enjoy a Sunday barbeque without all the mess can also come down for the Frontyard BBQ, from 11am to 6pm every weekend. Finally, Elbow Room has a special Bollywood-themed event in the works, dubbed ‘Got Curry,’ which will be held on the 27th of July. The event

will kick off at 8pm, with all guests to come dressed as their favorite Bollywood star. Make your way to Elbow Room in Kemang and make July that much more special.

The annual exhibition that Jakarta’s gearheads most eagerly await is returning once again. The Indonesian International Motor Show, which is entering its 19th year and follows up on the massive success of last year’s event, will once again be held at JI Expo-Kemayoran. The 22nd to 31st of July will see all the automotive big guns trying to outdo each other in showcasing their latest products, which are set to hit the Indonesian automotive market in the near future. The 10-day automotive festival will also feature modification competitions and special discounts on parts and cars on display that will only be available during the exhibition. For more information on the event, please visit www.indonesianmotorshow.com.

While the holy month of Ramadan will be upon us in August, it doesn’t mean that we can’t headbang and enjoy the power-pop punk performance of Tennessee-based band Paramore when they hit the stage at Pantai Karnaval Ancol. As part of the bands’ Asian tour, they will first perform at GWK in Bali on the nation’s independence day (August 17th), before heading to Jakarta to take to the stage at Pantai Karnaval Ancol on the 19th of August. Tickets for the concert are already available online so hurry and get in on the action before they sell out.

Paramore live in Jakarta

While most rock fans are waiting in anticipation of the arrival of the annual Java Rockin’Land event, another lesser-known festival gathering international rock bands will be held on the 23rd and 24th of July at Lapangan D Senayan. The Rockvolution Music Festival 2011 will feature a long list of international indie bands, including The Datsuns, Rufio, Destine, Tonight Alive, Netral and Superman is Dead, just to name a few. Gugun Blues Shelter will also take part in the event, hot off their performance at Hard Rock Calling in London. Early-bird ticket prices for the two-day event are still available until the 13th of July, when prices go up to Rp 99k per one-day entry. Tickets are now available online.

Devildice: Army of the Black Rose

evildice, a group of musicians from Bali masterminded by JRX, the drummer of Superman Is Dead, have come back with their second album. While their first album, In The Arms of the Angels (2004),

was self-produced, this latest one, Army of the Black Rose (June 2011), was put together through Sony Music Indonesia.

Over 11 songs, JRX, the main songwriter, talks mostly about nihilism, life and love, pain and rain. They also invite some guest stars to participate.

Sari Nymphea performs a duet with JRX on the Johnny Cash/June Carter-inspired song, “Diamonds are Forever,” backed up by Leo and Kappe Sinatra on guitar and contrabass. Hendra Fish (Telephone) also plays guitar on “Palace of My Own Disgrace.”

Army of the Black Rose

Setelah pada 2004 merilis album perdana secara swadaya, In the Arms of the Angels, butuh waktu hingga tujuh tahun bagi Devildice untuk muncul lagi lewat ke publik dan melahirkan Army of the Black Rose.

Devildice?

Resmi terbit tanggal 9 Juni 2011, Army of the Black Rose terdiri dari sebelas tembang yang

bicara nihilisme, bidadari, cinta, hujan, kehidupan dan kesepian. “(The Godfather) Army of the Black Rose”, sebagai senandung pembuka berceletoh melalui kacamata kaum nihilis soal dunia nan haus darah, rakus, dan kebenaran cuma manipulasi teori kebencian; dan mereka kesepian. “Land of No Angels” mengusung tentang harapan bagi para remaja broken home agar selalu ingat bahwa cinta ada di mana saja serta belajar memaafkan krusial adanya. Sementara “Never a Saint” dan “Rock & Roll City” adalah lagu bikinan era silam menyoroti sosok manusia yang liar, panas, penuh kejutan, plus paradoksal dari persona malaikat. Pada “Diamonds are Forever” dan “Palace of My Own Disgrace” kontingen musisi asal Kuta ini mengajakserta bintang tamu.

Young people need to a establish a sense of financial responsibility while they’re still productive. Don’t think your financial future

is decades away. Taking simple steps early in your career can significantly improve your resources and quality of life in the future. For now, a little bit of financial advice won’t hurt.

Retirement PlanningWhen you hear the word ‘retirement,’ what do you think? If you’re thinking of setting aside some cash every now and then, or even better, every month, in order to get to retirement safely, then you’re on the right track. While it may seem like something that you don’t need to worry about right now, it’s actually very important to start planning for retirement well in advance. By getting used to saving, you will establish a good habit that can continue over the length of your working life.

Start an Emergency FundIn life, you should expect the unexpected. Other than saving up for retirement, it’s best to routinely save a little money in an emergency fund. Financial emergencies can come in the form of job losses, significant medical expenses, home or auto repairs, or something that you never even dreamed of. Having emergency savings can really keep you out of financial trouble and help you sleep better at night.

Know Where Your Money GoesThis one is very important if you are making a

regular income. Keep an eye on what you’re spending to make sure your expenses don’t outstrip your earnings. Once you see how your morning stop at that coffee place really adds up over the course of a month, you’ll realize that making small, manageable sacrifices in your everyday expenses can have a big impact on your overall financial situation.

Use Credit Cards ResponsiblyIt’s easy to spend your money by taking out that piece of plastic in your wallet. Don’t give in to temptation by spending on things you can’t afford or don’t need. This can be a quick way to financial ruin, and debts can take years to pay off.

Back in January, Twilite Orchestra started their collaboration with Mandiri Sekuritas on a series of concerts. The first of these, performed at Balai Sarbini, was called

"Cantabile!" and was based on the soundtrack to a popular Japanese manga series by Tomoko Ninomiya, called Nodame Cantabile. The famous, award-winning series depicts the relationship between two aspiring classical musicians, Megumi "Nodame" Noda and Shinichi Chiaki, both as university students and after graduation. It was followed up by a successful anime TV series, also called Nodame Cantabile, whose soundtrack is loaded with beautiful classical compositions by Rachmaninov, Liszt, Strauss and even Gershwin. The successful homage concert was just the beginning. On July 16th they will hold the sequel to the concert, entitled "Cantabile 2."

Renowned and versatile Japanese pianist Dr. Kazuha Nakahara, who performed for the first Cantabile, will return for the follow-up, joined by talented Indonesian musicians including Michelle Siswanto (violin) and Felicitas Nesca Alma (piano). Dr. Nakahara is an award-winning musician who has toured the world, playing solo, in groups and as part of an orchestra. She holds a D.M. degree in piano performance from Indiana University, where she was a recipient of the prestigious Chancellor's

Fellowship. For the coming concert, Dr. Nakahara will bring a Ravel composition to life.

The word cantabile is actually a music term meaning "singable" or "songlike" in Italian, and has several meanings in different contexts. In instrumental music, it indicates a particular style of playing that is designed to imitate the human voice. For 18th-century composers, the term is often used synonymously with "cantando" (singing), indicating music involving a measured tempo and flexible, legato playing. For later composers, particularly of piano music, cantabile indicates the drawing out of one particular musical line against its accompaniment. For the upcoming Cantabile 2, Twilite Orchestra has selected some great compositions based on th Nodame Cantabile soundtrack. These include amazing compositions by Glinka, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Ravel and Dvorak.

It is also worth mentioning that several young musicians will join the Twilite Orchestra on stage for their latest performance. The selected new talents each passed a rigorous audition process to participate in the concert. The concert is sure to be a classical music event that is not to be missed!

MBAH JINGKRAK

Mbah Jingkrak, the name of this Javanese restaurant, actually means ‘jumping-up-and-down-grandma’ in Javanese. Maybe granny is happy about the many patrons enjoying her food, or maybe she’s just reacting to her own fiery

sambal (chili sauce)!

More on the sambal later. First, let’s take a peek at the place. The first thing you notice is its unusual decor. Every corner, nook and cranny seems to have its own story to tell. For example, there’s a wall full of baseball caps, a corner of miniature train sets, another wall full of local cigarettes (with a sign saying ‘smoke all you want here!’), an extensive collection of kecap bottles from different regions of Indonesia, etc., etc…. And check out their version of MTV, which in this case means ‘Mendoan TV!’ You just gotta check it out yourself to get the full feeling of this eccentric eatery. We suggest

having your meal al fresco, under the shady trees at the back patio near the pool.

When you come into this Semarang-styled restaurant, grab yourself a free small glass or two of jamu (beras kencur or gula asam). They’re full of health benefits. You’ll then see a smorgasbord of food for you to choose from. The friendly staff will heat your choices for you and bring them to your table. The food is mostly Central Javanese, but with a certain kick. Mbah Jingkrak is well known for adding sambal to their dishes. And boy, is it crazy hot!

Mbah Jingkrak has about five different types of colorful sambal, with different degrees of spiciness. Their fieriest and most famous is the Sambal Iblis (3k). Don’t let its pretty orange colour fool you. It has serious firepower! The fact that the sambal is named after the devil himself should give you an idea of what you’re in for. But guess what? It’s one of the most popular items here! It probably hurts so good that it keeps the customers coming back for more.

We started our meal with the Mendoan (5k), a typical Javanese-style tempe. Even this mild dish was garnished with some small green chilis and a nice dipping sauce of chilied kecap. Next we had some other popular dishes: the scarily named Ayam Rambut Setan (15.5k) and the Ayam Grandong (15.5k). Both are basically fried chicken with different blends of sambal on top. Simple, yet tasty. As for the veggies, we ordered the Oseng Pare Teri (8.2k) and the Oseng Daun Pepaya (8.2k). Both vegetables are known to be a bit bitter in taste, but the chili mixes brought the best out of them. Delicious.

There are a lot of cool drinks available to ‘cool down the fire.’ Try the interestingly named Es Buaya Darat (10k), Es Pocong (12.5k), or Es Blepotan (10k).

Mbah Jingkrak is an oddball but original restaurant that’s definitely worth a visit, especially if you enjoy having some heat in your dishes. The ambiance is amusing on its own, and the food is devilishly delectable. Ah, now we get what the pool is for!

Back in the Loop

Jakarta’s Cafe Batavia in Kota has recently been taken over by a new team, and is now set to re-live the glory

days of years past. The two-story Cafe Batavia was built in 1805 on Taman Fatahillah square, opposite the old Dutch Council Hall (now the Jakarta museum), featuring teak floors, Baroque mirrors, and pictures of celebrities on its walls. In its heyday, the bar was named one of the world’s ten best. Steeped in history, the restaurant is now an icon on the Jakarta tourist map and is visited by thousands of foreign and local tourists every year. TBJ caught up with a member of the new team, Paul Counihan, at a special evening to relaunch the restaurant last week, and got the scoop on what’s happening. “Cafe Batavia has been off the social map over the past few years and we’ve decided to bring it back to its former glory. Many tourists visit here through the day and night so the first thing we did was create what we call a tourist menu. This comprises less expensive items so that more people can come and enjoy the visit to the building without breaking the bank,” said Counihan. The restaurant will also maintain its fine-dining menu for discerning guests. The plan is to also bring life back to the downstairs venue, with live music, namely jazz, through the week, and possibly Top-40 bands on the weekends. “This is a beautiful old building and a part of Jakarta’s heritage. We want to bring it back to those glory days and bring more residents back up to this historic part of town to have a great night out,” Counihan commented. The downstairs bar area has certainly proven itself to be a fantastic venue for jazz and other events, as was made clear by the recent Rejuvenation Party.

the Beaver

Boasting Jodie Foster as director and Mel Gibson as lead actor is more than The Beaver’s main selling point. It is its greatest strength. Gibson’s performance here has been deemed his finest by many. He channels Walter Black, a once successful executive and family man who is deeply depressed and turns to a hand puppet as his only means of communication. While dark and heavy, The Beaver also hits comedic notes. A family drama that stands out, The Beaver deals with serious mental issues in a realistic and entertaining manner.

menulis dan menyutradari dokumentasi pembuatan serial konyol Little Britain. Dia juga menulis skenario untuk The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn yang bakal dirilis akhir tahun ini. Alasan Kedua: Produser-nya, Edgar Wright, sudah pernah mengocok perut penonton lewat Hot Fuzz dan Shaun of the Dead.

Ide cerita Attack the Block sederhana saja. Pantang dilewatkan!

It’s true. I’m way too excited about all the summer colours for the holidays. Even though I’m at my desk every single day, typing article after article, my mind wanders to my plans for the holiday season. At the top of my list are the dresses I need for the perfect holiday outfit and the look I want to go for with my makeup.

Usually for summer, you see a lot of wild infusions involving juicy colours. This time around, we’re seeing far more variation in tones, all of which I’m dying to apply to get in the holiday mood.

The Colour of the SeaI always love turquoise and aqua, so I was overjoyed to see them included in the Cap Ferrat Trio Eyeshadow Palette from NARS Summer 2011, which allows me to combine two of my favourite colours. I’m definitely a beach person, and this is perfect for those seaside outings. Now all I need is a beach to go to.

What I love most about this palette is that the colours are so vivid that just using them to line my eyes changes my whole look. The collection also comes with a coral lipgloss, lipstick pencil and lipstick. Coral and blue tones are the ideal combination for the summer months.

A Touch of MetalNail polish is compulsory. I just can’t get over the look of two new nail polishes, both of which are must-haves. Chanel’s Peridot comes from their fall collection and is simply to die for! Its green-gold metallic finish is worth going to any amount of trouble to get. Then there’s NARS Kismet nail polish, which offers the truest yellow gold. Which one will win your heart?

Yummy Brown HairBrown really suits Indonesian skin tones. Matrix has just recently launched their Extra Chocolate hair colour product, for their top-selling product Wonder Brown. All the different yummy browns are hard to choose from, but I really want to make mine a rich chocolate cherry. When I’ve coloured my hair in the past, I’ve only gone with very dark brown, because I’m afraid other colours will look too light on me, but I’m open to change. Any special colour that you’re loving this season?

A nice looking travel bag that is well-designed and functional is a hard thing to come by. Most of the time I’m stuck with either cabin-

sized luggage or another boring black duffel bag. Imagine my excitement when I came across the ‘Runaway Bag‘ from Tulisan. The name is so catchy, it makes you just want to drop what you’re doing, throw everything you need inside and run away from your daily routine. Especially when it comes in such a cute print!

Plan a Runaway wITh ThE

This particular runaway bag is from the ‘Sound of Dawn’ collection and comes at a cost of only Rp 548k, which is very tempting for a travel bag. Its bottom is 21 cm x 55 cm, while its width and height stand at 63 cm x 41 cm, making it a very convenient companion for your weekend getaway. You’ll even have space left over for souvenirs for the folks back home, and for your holiday shopping finds.

The bag is made of durable canvas with a clear coating, so you don’t have to worry about it getting ruined. The material makes it really easy to clean, and a wet tissue or slightly damp cloth should do the trick.

Charles Prosper Wolff Schoemaker (1882-1949) is the Frank Lloyd Wright of Indonesia. Between 1910 and 1940, he designed numerous buildings in Java, including Villa Isola and Hotel Preanger in Bandung, which are among the absolute highlights of modern architecture in the first half of the twentieth century. Histories of Dutch architecture often pass over the work of Dutch architects in the former Dutch East Indies. Wolff Schoemaker was one of Soekarno’s lecturers and a central architect in Indonesia in the 1920s and 1930s. Manga subculture, which became a global phenomenon in the 1990s, is a reflection of the state of the kiwari (contemporary) world, which is increasingly visual. The subculture was born from Japanese visual culture. Although inseparable from the history of western comics and visual arts, manga is unique in its deep integration into socio-cultural life in Japan, one of the most visually aware nations of today. This discussion will explore the Manga subculture and its globalisation, offering perspective on the social, cultural, ethical and visual world in which we live today. Speakers include Hikmat Darmawan (comic writer and researcher) & Farah Wardani (Indonesian Visual Art Archive director).

Interpretations everything around usAt My Space exhibition at Philo Art Space, we deal with spaces through the

perspective of the artist’s subjective struggle, often coming to feel represented by, and involved in, the struggle. Interestingly, spaces can appear anywhere,

making us strongly aware that we are living in plural space. Plurality presupposes subjective perspectives, in this case with regard to movement, opportunities, and life itself.

Pasker brings us into the space where his private life occurs, a room on a crowded street. This kind of space allows us to interact with anyone, whether friend or stranger, for a long or short time, or just take time off to wait for whatever is coming for us. The crowded street is a symbol of everyday urban life.

Feri Eka Candra aims for a quiet space, one that is meditative, sterile, a library from which the abstract knowledge of products come. This library speaks of the possibility of space itself, operating through only the barest of compromises with living beings.

Deskhairi’s focus is different, operating in a broader space but concerned with the aspect of human nature that endangers ecosystems. The creation of abstract space enables him to take a position outside the realm of reality, autonomous, controlling and able to destroy even nature itself.

Related is the space established by Nyoman Sujana Kenyem, which regards human interaction with nature as hopeful and harmonious, involving joy and the celebration of life. People entering the space still have a direct awareness of treading within a private room where the true energy of life can be found.

Sujarwo’s space offers typical representations of urban shapes that sometimes involve quiet solitude and yet remain a part of the crowd. It highlights how introspective occasions can often be part of one’s work to survive.

For Dedy Supriadi, space is a line of text that makes itself manifest. There is no vacuum, not even with regard to human beings themselves. Everywhere is text, and each room is filled with its traces. Supriadi asks how we can direct our steps in textual space.

Through Erizal’s work, we find the human world seen as a vast expanse of space, involving relationships between the self and other that are affected by mood. Excitement broadens space without limit, while and dancing allows us to enjoy occupying it.

Rinaldi dramatically represents the space of the subconscious. Dreams can be read as poetry or prose in a life in which our conscious minds are often unable to accommodate our desires and expectations. Traumatic dreams are seen as indicating that we still need time to realise our goals.

Art arises when individuals are allowed to play around with abstract space and express space through their individual worldviews. Each work of art offers the subjective perspective of the artist as inseparable from the interests and struggles of space.

Synonymous with illustration, Kopi Keliling is a collaborative project that involves a host of cross-disciplinary artists.

The theme of coffee was chosen for its proximity to everyday life. Coffee undergoes a long process to end up in our cups. Before becoming a liquid, it is a dry powder, and before that, dark seeds. The seeds are borne in rich red fruit. The love of the fruit comes to bear in harvest, when the farmer bares the seed from the fruit, its caffeine giving it passion, vitality, romance and life.

Today, coffee shops have proliferated in Jakarta, becoming part of the city lifestyle. The illustrations that play a part in this project are similarly easy to access.

“The Coffee-Meter” by Ario Anindito and “Kaleidoskopi” by Maharanie Diela, for example, interpret the everyday effects of coffee.

In the “Dark Conversation” diorama, EkoBintang describes coffee through a connective conversation between new acquaintances.

Art is often considered to be something lofty and unattainable by the Jakartan public, but it is also a part of everyday life. In the heart of the city, the very practical secretly maintain their passion, which is harvested by these young artists and processed into new artforms that refresh the city.

Khaima restaurant on Jalan Laksmana/Oberoi was closed for renovations for the past few months but bounded back to life last week, bringing a new, modern taste and style to Bali’s famed ‘Eat Street.’ The urban, contemporary design by Japanese designer Nobuyuki Narabayashi, previously of Super Potato fame and now Design 9, has melded modern Islamic details and natural tones into the new-look Moroccan restaurant. The menu is still more or less the same as the previous offering, which has made Khaima many fans over the past decade. As the dust settles, chef Nora and partner Driss will be bringing new dishes to the list and table but for now they are happy concentrating on getting everything right. Another cool addition at the new restaurant is a full bar near the entrance, shaking up a range of new cocktails and offering a pleasant spot for a pre- or post-dinner drink. The Shisha hookah pipes are still available and are ideally enjoyed in the rear lounge area.

A Modern Khaima Returns

Billabong is stoked to announce that the highly anticipated Billabong Pro Junior 2011 will be hosted at Nusa Lembongan’s legendary Shipwreck break. Billabong Asia’s brand manager, Peter Thew, stated they are pumped to take the competition over to Nusa Lembongan. Shipwreck’s boasts a reliable, powerful right-hander that breaks just off a coral reef that has formed over the historical remains of a shipwreck, about a 300-metre paddle from the beach. Billabong rider and Nusa Lembongan local Agus Firmanto has high hopes for winning on his home turf, and is stoked that the Billabong Pro Junior has chosen the wave as its location. The Billabong Pro Junior will be held over a seven-day waiting period from the 25th until the 31st of July.

amazing how fast some things can get done around here sometimes. I’m sitting at a restaurant on Double Six Street that was a building site last week. However, you’d never know it - the revamped and

refurb’d 66 corner doesn’t look a bit out of place and already has a cozy ‘established’ feel to it, right down to the colourful cushions and relaxed informal atmosphere.

It’s already busy too. Located on busy Double Six street, it’s a haven for walk in diners and those needing a cold Bintang after a hot day at the beach.

EARLy IN THE EVENING, JUST ABOUT SUPPER TIME, DOWN ON THE CORNER, OUT IN THE STREET, 66 CORNER IS A GREAT NEW SPOT TO GET yOUR HUNGER FIX IF yOU’RE AROUND THE DOUBLE SIX, SEMINyAK AREA.

Food

It’s 6pm and the waiters are busily furnishing everyone with beers, beverages and tasty looking food while a large flatscreen bears a live footy game. (By ‘footy’, I mean ‘rugby league’ since that’s my game).

Open from 7am to 11pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 66 Corner aims to recreate the success of it’s bigger brother JP’s WarungClub up on Dhyana Pura. Chef/manager/all round top bloke Alit shares the same passion and drive in the kitchen as his good buddy Nizar Achmad up at JP’s, and immediately disappears into the kitchen to rustle up our treats for tonight. In the meantime I check out the ample yet concise menu, which bears a pleasing mix of Western and Indonesian favourites along with an enticing drink list of hot and icy coffees, premium loose leaf teas and fresh, healthy juices.

A warm, spicy chicken salad (40k++) emerges first, featuring a solid mix of greens, pineapple, cucumber, bean sprouts, onion, coriander, dressing and a slice of garlic baguette on the side. The subtly spicy chicken and fresh veggies make for an excellent healthy choice, which is actually big enough to cover a light lunch or appetiser for two.

Appetite duly awakened and it’s on to the mains, which tonight come in the form of the grilled mahi mahi (65k++) with herb sauce, salad and creamy mashed potato, and the crowd-pleasing crispy pork belly (85k++) served with sweet spicy aioli, salad and mashed potato. The succulent cut of prime pork is wrapped in the crispiest crackling I’ve tasted since my mum’s Sunday roasts and I waste no time crunching through it before my friend tries to nab any more.

A couple of homemade desserts finish up proceedings, with a chocolate cake (26k++) and a slice of everyone’s favourite: apple pie (23k++).

In addition to the fine food and tasteful, airy décor of 66 Corner, you can also take advantage of free WiFi Internet access, a selection of magazines and board games and daily happy hours where between 4-7pm all beverages are 30% off.

Grand Opening

The new Brewers Beer Garden in Legian finally opened its doors

to the public last Friday. Its grand opening kicked off in style with plenty of beer and good cheer. Brewers’ beer-infused delicacies were on hand for sampling in the early hours of the night, along with frosty free-flow beer and an assortment of unique brew-based cocktails. The good spirits continued into the night with a long list of local performers throwing down, including Ice Cream Attack, DJ Stan and IZL, Pandora and South East Asia’s reggae ambassador, Ras Muhamad. The lively jam extended to the traffic out front, but it was still a great intro to the newest bar in town.
