Oct 5, 2011 The Bear Mark et Myt h is Bogus! The Bear has roared s ince August !

The popular call that stocks are in a bear market after a decline of 20% is a bogus myth! The

bull market off the March 2009 lows ended in the first week of August 2011 when the up trendoff those lows broke. I have been showing the weekly chart for the Dow Industrial Average withthat up trend and when it broke a new bear market was ushered in. The key level was justabove Dow 12,000. My first target was my annual pivot at 11,491. The weekly closes below11,491 targeted the 200-week and 120-month simple moving averages at 10,648 and 10,606,which were violated intra-day on Tuesday, but not at the close. With new lows across all majorequity averages the downside risk for the Dow Industrial Average is semiannual value levels at9,635 and 8,468. Offsetting the weak technicals is fact that stocks are cheap fundamentally withmore than 90% of all stocks being undervalued by similar magnitudes as in March 2009.

10-Year Note (1.802) Daily, monthly, semiannual, quarterly and annual value levels are 2.066,2.222, 2.414, 2.669 and 2.690 with semiannual and weekly risky levels at 1.672 and 1.465. My

semiannual risky level at 1.672 was tested on September 23rd.
