Meet MUBS So, you know who we are and what we do but incase you
havent had a chat and mingle with us yet heres a snippet
of who our members are. Keep an eye out next week for a
another MUBS rep!
Meet: Meg
Name: Meg Dunham
Role: Co Social-Coordinator
Course: Professional Communication , 3rd Year
Interests: Partying, being a avid monarchist, cooking and reading.
Quirky fact: I come from a town called Penguin where even the
rubbish bins look like fairy penguins :)
What I love about MUBS: Planning parties! Seeing things I've
worked on come together and watching people enjoy themselves
What I love about Berwick: Not being lost in the crowd. It's great to
know the faculty heads, management, student leaders and
students by name.

Are you a final year student? If so it is never too early to start thinking about your next
step into the World of Work!
Many large organisations undertake their recruitment for Graduates in the year before
you are due to finish. Some Employers are recruiting NOW for jobs that do not start until
2014! With this in mind, it is imperative that you start thinking about the next step in
your career today.
Some tips:
Visit www.graduateopportunities.com. The website features information regarding
Internship, Vacation Work, Cadetship opportunities, employment outcomes and salaries
for particular industries.
Start preparing your resume and cover letter. In doing this, you will be able to identify if
you have any gaps in your experience. If you do this now, you can use the rest of the
year to gain experience that will increase your employability on completion of your
studies.
