The automatic reelers of the AP series meet the expectations of both paper and paperboard converters. The winders of the AP series can be used whenever it is necessary to wind paper or paperboard in a continuous non-stop process such as at the outlet of printing, coating, varnishing and other converting lines. With their unique plow-knife system with three hinges and smooth pressure control, the winders of this series ensure a perfect roll quality and a very smooth and reliable non-stop splice in full speed.

All machines of this AP series work with a purely surface-driven winding concept with an idle expandable shaft. They can also be used for winding up to three separate rolls when equipped with a proper slitting and web separating unit. Additional standard features include a fully automatic shaft handling and roll unloading system thus ensuring a completely automatic operation where no action is required from the operator.
