LANDSCAPE DECLARATION WHY
Austria has not ratified the European Landscape Convention. The declaration is intended as an impulse to politics and public in our country to protect and ensure a sustainable development of our landscape.
LANDSCAPE DECLARATION WHO
The `Umweltdachverband´ (i.e. Environmental Umbrella Association) is the umbrella organisation for 36 environmental and nature conservation and Alpine associations in Austria with around 1.4 million members. It is a central interface and information platform for European and national environmental policy.

AUSTRIAIn cooperation with the ‘Umweltdachverband’, ÖGLA has blended the state of the landscape in Austria with the UN Sustainability Goals (Agenda 2030) and derived simple goals for sustainable development in Austria in the ACTION FIELD LANDSCAPE.
