Dr.YPMunjalandothermemberscomplementedPresidentDr.BRBansode,ChairmanScientificCommitteeandDr.JayantaPandaformotivatingforthebenefitstothePGstudentsfortheirexaminationforgoingabroad.

3. PHYSICIANS RESEARCH FOUNDATIONS: ACTIVITIES a. Physicians Research Foundation Research Grant The Physicians Research Foundation (PRF) invited applications from the
APImembers who are interested in conducting research studies in theareaofMedicineanditsSubspecialties.ThegrantswerewidelyadvertisedtoallmembersbyregularadvertisementsintheJAPIJournals,PRFwebsite(www.apiicpprf.in)aswellduringthegoverningbody/annualAPImeetings.
ThereceivedResearchprojectswereevaluatedbyexpertpanelofPRF/APIandalsodiscussedinBoardofDirectorsmeetingandthefinaldecisionwasmadeafterthoroughanalysis.
Thetwo-thesisgrants, fromSMSJaipurandRGKarMedicalCollegeandHospitalwereselectedduringthe2016PRFmeetings.Theyweregivenfirst

ManyResearch projectswerereceivedforPRFGrantsincelastmeetingin2017.ThesinglecenterstudybyDr.NPSingh(Delhi)onChronic Kidney Disease and Associated Risk Factors among Auto-Rickshaw Drivers from Delhi NCR of IndiaandanotherstudybyDr.VishalSharma(PGIMeR,Chandigarh)onUtility of serial measurements of faecal calprotectin in assessing response to therapy in patients with probable intestinal tuberculosiswas accepted forPRFResearchGrant.TheotherThesisandsinglecentreresearchgrantareunderscrutinyandunderreviewbyexperts.Thefinaldecisionaboutgrantreleasewillbemadeshortlyafterreceivingcommentsfromexperts.

conventionandontheaccrualbasisofaccounting,exceptasotherwisestated.Intheabsenceofanyauthoritativelyestablishedaccountingprinciplesforthespecialisedaspectsrelatedtocharitabletrusts,whichdonotcarryoutanycommercialactivity,thesestatementshavebeenpreparedinaccordancewiththesignificantaccountingpoliciesasdescribedbelow.

I/Wehaveobtainedalltheinformationandexplanationswhichtothebestofmy/ourknowledgeandbeliefwerenecessaryforthepurposeoftheaudit.Inmy/ouropinionbooksofaccounthavebeenkeptbytheheadofficeandthebranchesoftheabovenametrust/institutionvisitedbyme/issofarasappears frommy/ourexaminationofthebooksandproperreturnsadequateforthepurposesoftheaudithavebeenreceivedfromthebranchesnotvisitedbyme/us,subjecttothecommentsgivenbelow:
1. Out of Receipts of ̀ .23.11 crore, Receipts of ̀ .3.65 crore are subject to reconciliation, as the same has not been accounted serially and many of the receipts entries were not supported with proper receipt documents.
2. ForExpensesof`.66,48,906 relevant bills were not on record.
3. ProperTaxinvoiceswerenotissuedinrespectofthereceipts.
4. TDSreturnsandservicetaxreturnswerenotonrecord.
