TRIPURA (2011 78min)Tripura is a story of Destruction, a destruction of the material or gross ambitions as represented by powerful cities of the asura clan. These are destroyed by Shiva at the end of the mighty adventure in a ironic twist that the cities are designed and created by a great asura devotee of Shiva, the sorcerer and architect Mayasur or just Maya. Maya is the main protagonist along with his wards the three orphaned asura princes he raises to be model kings for the asura civilization. But the ambition and ego of the brothers cannot be held back and they turn antagonistic to him after they have attained power and prosperity. They turn their back on the values inculcated by Maya and prefer to go back to warlike ways to assert themselves. The devas who are the guardians of the universe by virtue of their dedication to service have to fight a massive battle to keep them in check.
