The eclectic shape of The Archetype,

Kim Lighting’s classic site/roadway luminaire

readily adapts to and universally complements

contemporary architectural design.

For over seven decades, Kim Lighting has

manufactured the most reliable luminaires

available and The Archetype continues in

that tradition. The Archetype housing is

constructed with with solid die-cast, low

copper alloy (<0.6%) aluminum for superior

durability. One piece silicone gaskets achieve

an IP66 rated optical compartment and

assure lens integrity over time. The finest

stainless steel hardware is used to properly

secure all components within the housing,

and provides safe pole attachment durability

in extreme weather conditions.

It its most recent incarnation, The Archetype

utilizes the latest advancements in solid state

lighting to deliver a maximum level of output

with minimal energy consumption for a

modern outdoor lighting solution.

The Archetype LED is available with either

PicoEmitter or PicoPrism optics, and two

size offerings for both pole and wall mount

configurations. These optics offer distinct

and precise distributions with high efficacy
