Cost of trip includes Group Travel insurance for both teachers and children. This is provided by Travellers Protection Services Ltd and is 20 million Public Liability Insurance. Aeroball A unique & fun combination of basketball and trampolining, aeroball is an exhausting game of skill, coordination & teamwork. Archery Bring the history of the Chateau to life in our fencing range! Pupils can imagine themselves as part of the 44th Hussar Infantry Regiment, who inhabited the Chateau in Develop dexterity, control and precision with flexible target ranges geared to every age group. Climbing A challenging and satisfying adventure activity in terms of individual achievement. Our purpose- built indoor climbing wall provides the ideal opportunity to develop coordination, stamina & determination, whilst learning basic climbing skills and techniques. Fencing Students will feel like one of the Chateau's first residents, the Marquis de Reynal in 1776, as they learn this ancient pastime. Developing their strength, control & balance - as well as tactical awareness. Safety equip-ment is provided for every student. Field Games Take advantage of the Chateau's spacious surroundings with our field games. Including everything from Rounders to Ultimate Frisbee and Football. Nightline A firm favourite with Chateau visitors! Blindfolded, a team of students are encouraged to work together to navigate their way through a series of obstacles and mazes. An invaluable fun activity to promote bonding amongst classmates. Petanque Compete against classmates in the traditional French game of Petanque. You'll need all your technique & skill to aim your metal boules closest to the jack. Problem Solving Using an obstacle course w ithin our purpose-built problem solving park in the Chateau's grounds, students are set a number of problem solving exercises to complete as a team. Designed to develop teamwork, initiative & leadership skills Team Tech Potential x Ability x Skill = Success. Watch a team's ability to learn and work more effectively together as they are guided through a number of time-dependent construction challenges using our award winning learning equipment. Passport Information The school will need to apply for a Group Passport for all children travelling to France Parents will have to complete a Nationality form and provide 2 passport photos Children will be provided with an individual identity card Teachers will be required to take their own individual passport Parents will also need to complete a medical form for their child and obtain an E111 Card Incidental Information Pocket Money of up to 30 may be taken in a labelled and secure container. The Chateau actively discourages the use of mobile phones as it is their experience that parents phoning children or children phoning parents makes the transition harder rather than easier. It is also very expensive. Mrs Ayers will give the school office daily update bulletins Deposits of 50 will need to be in by 31 st January, as the school will need to make an initial payment at the beginning of February. We will be happy to take deposits this evening!!.
