Merry Christmas to Our Missionaries! Christmas is only three months away! As we think of celebrating our Sav-ior’s birth, we would also like to bless our missionaries with a special monetary gift. Today, there will be envelopes in the pews for you to desig-nate money for the missionaries’ Christmas gifts. Next Sunday you will also be able to give toward their gifts. Please take the time to pray about how you can support and bless those who are serving as WEFC missionar-ies around the world.

What does it mean to be a “Missional Church”?
“To be missional means that we begin to understand that every Christian is a mis-sionary, not just the pastor or people on the missions committee. Being missional means we stop thinking of the church as a place we go on Sunday, but rather re-alize that it’s something we ARE every-day of the week. We must realize that we no longer live in a Christian culture, and we must approach our culture as missionaries approach foreign cultures overseas.”
Durmomo Gary, from the WEFC Missions Team, agrees with
www.missionallutherans.org and their statements regarding being a
missional church.
