HOBBS FARM is an 11 acre organic farm in Centereach. Many years ago it was a working farm owned by a man named Mr. Hobbs who grew and sold produce to local stores and restaurants. When Mr. Hobbs passed away, he gifted the land to his local church. The church let the property sit for many years. Ann Pellegrino, a local resident in Centereach, would pass the farm over and over again. At that point the land was very overgrown and an eye sore in the community. Ann asked the church permission to start farming again with the mission to donate fresh, healthy, organic food to local food pantries to feed people in need. For the last 8 years, Ann has done just that. Hobbs Farm is now a not-for-profit farm (the land is still owned by the church) with a mission to donate its food to food pantries on Long Island.

This event is presented at Hobbs Farm, an all-volunteer, organic farm in Centereach, NY where 90% of the proceeds from the farm are donated to Long Island food pantries.
